We ordered casa pasta, lamb yiros pack, a baby chino and a large cappuccino. Food was served in ordinary plates but drinks were in take away cups as we paid for 10 % surcharge for dine in on 2024 new year’s eve. We also ordered a piece of mud cake, passionfruit torte and Black Forest cake for my birthday. The waitress told me that mud cake and passionfruit cake were big pieces because the Black Forest cake run out. But the truth is the mud cake and passionfruit torte were left too old and too dry to eat and the Black Forest cake is still fresh and only has been cut a small proportion from it. The cakes were served in take away containers which we were happy with our hot food but were very disappointed with those take away containers. We would not recommend this restaurant to everyone as the waitress told a lie to us and the service was not so good. When we are leaving there, I saw a cleaning bucket was left on the cutlery area which is not very hygiene at all.
Saltwater Cafe is a friendly place with well prepared fresh food.nThere is a separate room with tables so we could sit down and enjoy our meal away from people standing around waiting to pick up their take away.nThere is ample parking at the rear.
Saltwater Cafe catered gourmet pizzas for our wedding and the did not disappoint, delivered to our venue hot and fresh and they were happy to wait for payment once our wedding had finished as not to disrupt our celebrations, thankyou Salty Crew
had a lovely pizza here today was one of the best ham and pineapple pizza i have had in awhile highly recommend. great prices! great atmosphere and very clean and neat little cafe will definitely be back.. ;
Maybe, it was because it was a Monday but this was dreadful! The Chips were quite nice but the fish!!!! Possibly the the worst I and my family have eaten in years, without exaggeration. One grilled fish, small with no flavour and two crumbed fish, lifeless looking, overcooked, tasteless, bland, though them in the bin and ate the chips with a salad. Service and staff were nice but seriously no one living near the sea should serve up this rubbish.
