Our cafe next door does take aways and serves either food or drink, or both. we overlook great oyster bay, seating around 60 people inside and outside about 30. reservations are recommended especially post COVID. we strive to make your stay pleasant and appreciate the opportunity if something is not what you expected to let us fix it, or offer an alternative."

Popped in for a last minute drink tonight on the deck, ended up having tea. Reading all the reviews you may be a bit put off, but hey, you make your own mind up. We did and it was delicious. Great location, staff were friendly and a nice feel. I had the seafood chowder entree size, big meal I was full. Full of seafood and yummy. The little bread yummy too. So don’t be phased by what you read, give this place a go.
Awesome food!!! Great hospitality!!! Great view. My family enjoyed the food thoroughly. Chili prawn pizza, linguine, burger with chips, iced cold coffee with ice cream. Good spot for food while on the way.
Great views! Very casual. A bit too relaxed for the location. Loved the different salt and pepper shakers on the tables. Very cute. Pizza was the best!!! Yummm!
Average taste, exorbitant prices. Probably the only restaurant open in the area, hence charging a lot more than required. At an average restaurant charging high prices, one expects fabulous flavours & generous portions. Unfortunately, at Saltshaker Restaurant Swansea, after paying $49.90 for a lamb rack dish was undercooked with unrendered fat, had to send it back, was just ok once back, and the accompanying items on plate were quite underwhelming, $33.90 for chicken tikka masala 1 papad, 1 smallish naan, some rice & a bowl of minute shredded chicken in what seemed like bottled supermarket bought gravy, $32.90 for tandoori chicken 1 piece of slightly undercooked but edible chicken thigh, salad & chips, and $15.90 for bruschetta 2 pieces of sourdough- nice enough in taste, we walked away feeling unsatisfied. One thing they did well was presentation! Food looked good, but was over priced & underwhelming.
Restaurant with a view. Loved the food and pleasant hospitality of the staff. Food was good too.. If you happen to stop at Swansea then do try food here..
I loved the food here. Staff are polite and customer minded. This is the first place we experienced the friendly staff during our visit in Tassi yet. The pizza and the chicken were delicious.
Excellent customer service from staff despite restaurant being quite full, although is fair to expect some delay for the orders to arrive due to the lack of staff in the kitchen. No compromise on quality of food orders though. Is advisable to book in advanced before dropping in or you may try your luck as walk-ins.
Great location, view of beach from restaurant is splendid! Pizza was "too cheesy" for my taste, but my friends loved their veg pizza. Overall good experience.
Very casual place but with the best Tasmanian scallops I have tasted! Highly recommended.
pizza was a tad too salty. oysters were not it. the only good thing was the service, we made a reservation 15 minutes before arriving and they were accomodating.
