Christmas dinner with the family. The food and drinks are of an excellent quality - probably the best in Alice Springs - but the lasting memory for us will be the amazing staff. Really friendly and accommodating. My kids liked the experience so much that they convinced us to change our accommodation to the Doubletree Hilton Alice Springs when we return to Alice in a few days.
Online menu needs to be updated. Lamb, meat was abit under cooked for my liking raw in the middle and abit over priced for the small portion But the flavours were good. Linguine, Generous portion and vegetables in it were great But lacked Flavor. Would have been nice to have it abit more saucy. Barra, this dish was delicious but for the price the portion size was small aswell. Soba noodles, Again generous portion with this one and the flavours were great. Probably the favourite of the night. Overall we had a lovely evening, nice quite atmosphere and great table service and friendly staff.
It was perfect! Delicious 300g black Angus, testing plates with kangaroo, cocodrile and barrumandi. I really recommend!. Thank you so much Saltbush it was an amazing experience
Had a delicious meal - NT barramundi, the grilled chicken and some sides as well as dessert. Booking was simple all done online, there was a good atmosphere when we were there, the food was yum, timely and great value, and the staff were welcoming, attentive and warm. Would recommend other travelers booking dinner here
Roasted cauliflower steak with a mild curry and grains. I would order this again as it was so tasty.Food: 5/5
Way too overpriced for size of meal. Desserts were stale and all four of our glasses had lipstick on them. We waited 30 mins for drinks to come out and 20 for them to even take our order. The food came out almost Instantly, too quickly even and It shows that they already had it premade and heated up and you could tell. However, the food was okay but again way too pricey as it was like $38 for two small slits of pork and a drizzle of garlic sauce. Although, staff were lovely and gave us a refund for desserts and a discount. Wouldn’t recommend this place personally but it’s alright. It used to be amazing but now they’re slack and won’t be going back again.
Went for my husband's birthday. The place was great and the staff was really friendly and professional. Food Calm and beautiful place for dates and candlelight dinners.
Well after a reasonable Christmas buffet lunch we decided to try a la carte. The menu looked pretty interesting so we were excited, and it came with a signature bread roll so it seemed like it would be a meal to remember. Sadly it would be a huge disappointment. The bread roll resembled a small and sad Woolworths soggy bread roll out of a bag. Not fresh and not made with love. The tasting plate was completely forgettable and bone of the tasters championed the native ingredients used. The flavours were completely lost, to the point that I actually don’t believe there are qualified chefs cooking here. And finally the mains. Very disappointing piece of duck with a bland truffle risotto and a seafood pesto pasta which was supposed to be infused with chilli and citrus, but was clearly missing both. To give 3 stars here would create the illusion that the food was good enough, but for a hotel of this calibre, it fell way short of acceptable.
Steak was ok, others were not so good
Very friendly staff definitely book for Friday or Saturday nights it gets very busy. To me they looked like they could have done with just one more staff member as they were continually moving very fast.
