Support your local cafes.... These guys are trying their best and it was great to see. Large variety of pies, coffee was good the chicken burger was fresh and tasty and you have a large selection of sandwiches on offer. Chop, chop, c'mon n check them out

Great range of lunch items, decent coffee and efficient service. Since moving to Altona over a year ago Salt n Pepa has been a go to for work from home lunches. The foccacias are particularly good, but also love getting a cheeky pie or pastizzi from the hot food selection. Coffee is up to standard and service is always friendly and efficient. Extra points go to having the outside service area, I walk my dog up every day so it's one of the best options to grab and go some lunch without leaving the pooch somewhere.
Usually my go to place to grab a coffee. Today they seemed busy, but that's normal for 8:30-9am and usually they are able to manage with the influx of customers. However, today i ordered an extra hot coffee, they didnt double cup the coffee which is fine, but they burnt my coffee. As i was walking back to my car it spilt a little on a little on my lid and i could already smell it was burnt before tasting it. Really disappointing how the standards dropped when it's busy.
Beautiful café on Altona's converted outdoor dining district with a lovely ambiance. Service was quick and efficient, coffee was great and food was excellent value for money. This nutella pancake with vanilla ice cream was exquisite! The gelato was just melting over the crushed hazelnuts and chocolate syrup and dripping over a stack of four enormous pieces of perfectly cooked pancakes!
Good food and coffee! Staff is friendly and attentive! Been there more than once, and I can only recommend if you're in the neighborhood!
No crema on long black and served stone cold avocado next to the roast tomatoes, which meant they also became stone cold. Service, poached eggs and toast were excellent though.
Great selection of food and pastries, and the coffee is great. Very popular spot though and lines can be an issue.
Salt- n- Pepa Cafe is an amazing supporter of local community by providing lunch for our Life Savers on Altona beach. The coffee, catering and food is awesome too!!
Great food. Generous portions. Nothing fancy or gourmet but delicious real food & friendly staff. Go for breakfast & try their smoothies.
