Yesterday, I arrived at Salisbury station at about 01:15 coming from London. Since I missed a train, I should have waited for 5 hours to catch the second one to my final destination. A staff member refused to allow me to wait and asked me to leave. He did not even allow me to make a call asking for help and chased me till I left the station completely and it was freezing cold outside. My question is why tickets are sold that way if you are not allowed to stay at the station that time?
was struggling with my bags and the loveliest conductor came to the rescue to help me get my bags onto the train, thank you that was the highlight of my stressful day of travel
Although the trains are big and helpful to get around , but there is luck of seat and very hot or cold depending on the weather. It's also unhelpful when your train is delayed or cancelled.
The staff on the gates are really amazing As i always seem to have to wait up to half an hour inbeween trains i always need a ciggie The lady with long dark hair and the young fair haired lad who was on yesterday weds are just great letting me in and out

On Tuesday 25th of January 22 mid afternoon, my 19 year old daughter got off at Salisbury train station to get her connection. She was feeling and being extremely unwell, so much so that she missed her connection. She made sure to stay by the office so she could be seen but even though her condition worsened no one called for assistance or offered her any help apart from a few members of the public. We were eventually able to get help to her approximately 5 hours later we were unaware of the situation for many hours however I was shocked that no one had helped her. All that time she was being sick and out in the freezing cold. This could have ended a lot worse. She was not drunk or on drugs but she assumed that’s what the staff thought and the reason they left her on her own in her condition. Very irresponsible and I hope this will be addressed. Obviously impossible to get hold of anyone at the station to discuss this.
I suffer from anxiety and had a problem with my Train/ Ticket. A lady named Tina in the Booking Office was very friendly and sorted it out for me so I could continue my journey.
What a lovely station! Clean, well cared for beautifully painted. Member of staff was even antibaccing seating. Clean, spacious toilets. Good catering. Well done....shame other stations can't be like this.
Fantastic customer service from Livvy on the platform and Matthew in the office. Both really helpful when my mother missed her connection from Westbury and lost her luggage. Can't thank them enough.
The Indian lady with the blue vest at the entrance is very rude. I was asking for help with printing the ticket and she was impolite and had an attitude. To print the ticket you have to input a card into the machine. Logically I thought it requests the card my ticket was bought with. I haven't paid by physical card therefore I couldn't insert it. I went to the lady and tried to explain why I can't input the card.The lady didn't even want to listen to what I was saying. With raised voice she started repeating about the card! We went together to the machine and all over again. Finally my wife asked her if we can input any card. She responded very annoyed that yes and just walked away. All of this could be avoided if the lady would listen to us and told from the beginning that it doesn't have to be the card we paid for the tickets. Simple as that.
