This Cathedral in Canberra is a stunning and peaceful place of worship . The cathedral's architecture is impressive, with beautiful stained-glass windows and a serene atmosphere. It's a great spot for reflection and quiet prayer. A must-visit for anyone seeking a spiritual experience in Canberra.
I have never been inside this church, and yet it had a special place in my life. You see, when I first came to Canberra and spoke no English, I had to catch the 237 ACTION bus to school to take ESL classes. I did not know which stop to get off the bus coming back home, so my mother told me to remember to get off once I see the church building. That's how I will always remember this building. I miss you, mom.
We attend Christopher church in here for Easter.nSuch a nice, cozy place to pray.
Damien and I went to the 5pm mass. We enjoyed the service together so much, I am returning today for the 12.15pm mass. Will take photos. Such a beautiful Cathedral.
Canberra's very own Roman Catholic Cathedral. Best time to attend a Mass here is during the 11am Sunday Solemn Mass or, to close off your week, the 5:30pm Sunday Mass. If you ran out of parking space on the side of the cathedral to attend a Mass, you may park for free on the Catholic Education Office, the gated establishment on the other side of Franklin Street.
