Amazingly located in the main strip of Noosa with beach front views. This restaurant is one of the more high end price wise, but for the quality of food and it's location - worth it. We were a big group of 10 and elected to have a 3 course menu set for dinner. Food was beautiful! The wagyu beef and king fish entrees were fantastic! For the mains, the eye fillet and the barramundi were great, good flavours and just the right amount of serving. For dessert, the butternut custard was a warm homey dessert, not too sweet, simple yet flavourful. The service was great, friendly and prompt. They also have a good variety of alcohol up to the top range of spirits if that's what you are into. I had a cocktail which was nice and fruity. The atmosphere was great. I think if I get a chance to go back I would book lunch so we can have a nice view of the beach. Vegetarian options: Available Parking: There is beach parking a few metres away and also some street parking
Perfect food and location! We really loved this place. All food is excellent, but the zucchini flowers were definitely the highlight! The other favourite were the tostaditos. Make sure you have a reservation before going here!
Great place, great service, views and food !! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Cocktails need to be a little stronger. Got a Paloma and a gin drink and had to order another shot because we couldn’t taste the alcohol at all!!
Beautiful food. A1 location We started with Oysters Naturale. Superb Then enjoyed Fillet Steak, Wagyu Steak, prawn Linguine. The food was excellent. The wine is extensive with the Dr Loosen sticky recommended. The dessert options were excellent with Chocolate Pavlova a real highlight. The cheese platter was also great. Highly recommended.
came here for our last night in queensland and the food tasted amazing! the serving sizes for a main the fish was the same size as my entree which was quite annoying. the waiter also tried to take my half finished food and then took my half finished wine without me noticing, i felt really rushed but apart from that it was a great experience. the sand-crab lasagna was amazing.
Really great place on the beach, food is amazing, the eye filet is like butter the sea bug is sweet and the service is really good. A bit pricy, but given the location, the quality of the food and the kind and helpful service the stuff offers I can’t complain on that + we went on Australia Day and there’s a 15% surcharge on public holidays. Definitely recommend
I was searching Google for #Gluten Free Restaurants in Noosa, and Noosa Sails came up as an option. We went to have a look at a few places, however either the menu wasn't interesting or they were full. We decided to search for Noosa Sails as a last ditch attempt for a late lunch and finally found it tucked away at the far end of the beach walkway. We immediately got a seat without a wait and were reassured that all the food would be #Gluten Free. The hostess and server were polite and knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions. The server even informed us about all the specials which then made us change our menu choices. The food though pricey, was fantastic. We ordered a coral trout served with pumpkin Butter, Slow roasted Fennel, Lemon and Herbs. The Fennel was such an amazing accompaniment to the fish. I'm going to be looking out for that combo again!Since the fish doesn't come with any starch, it would not have been filling, so we ordered some steamed Vegies. At $60, they could have thrown in a bed of vegies or potato, rice etc... I ordered the Slow roasted sovereign lamb shoulder served with sauce Soubise, Dutch cream potatoes and sugar snaps. When I saw the size of the lamb, my first reaction was damn, that's small for $46 however it was more than sufficient for a person with moderate appetite. The food was memorable to say the least, the view and ambience were lovey as were the staff. I would definitely recommend the place especially for Date night or date lunch, anniversary meal etc Dietary restrictions: Most of their items are #Gluten Free or can be made Gluten Free #GF
Beautiful setting but overpriced for good, not excellent, food, The sashimi was ok but not memorable. The toothfish in a miso glaze had a good texture but the flavour of the fish was overwhelmed by the miso. The wagyu rump cap was very tasty, but the Moreton Bay Bug was uninteresting and a bit dry. The hazelnut pavlova was tasty but overwhelmingly sweet. The pana cotta itself was nice but the accompanying chocolate covered Savoiardi biscuits were hard and overly sweet. Then there was the treatment... We had reserved the 5:15 service. First we arrived an hour early in the hopes of having a drink before the meal. We were told that evening guests couldn't be seated while the daytime staff were still working, and that there wasn't an open bar where we could have a drink. Fair enough, although I'm used to restaurants trying to be accommodating instead of making their guests do the accommodating. We came back an hour later and were offered a table at the front with great views on the condition that we had to be fine within 1.5 hours instead of 2. We agreed, as that should have been plenty of time. Unfortunately service was quite slow. When they offered us dessert, they told us that two options would take too long to prepare so we should order from the other 4 options. Once we finished dessert, the waiter brought the bill directly without offering coffees or anything further. Sure, it is what we agreed to, but we expected commensurate service from the restaurant instead of being made to wait and then being summarily evicted. My overall impression was of an overpriced restaurant with reasonable food, but not spectacular, and of staff who don't go the extra mile for their guests. I won't be returning.
The service was good however the food was average. I ordered bug and it was really plain and got no taste! Tried linguini and same for the pasta! Pasta was overcooked and soggy. Shame cos the fish quality was really good!
Would be 5 as food was excellent and service was good. Only issue was waitress Asian /Hawaiian seemed surly. Never smiled? Was very curt. Professional yes… but we Spent $650 when we asked for coffee she said we had to leave as table was rebooked….was never told. Other than that excellent!
