1 lesson is all you’ll need to assure yourself that you’ve made the right choice. In my experience most instructors teach you solely how to pass the test, this is not Henry’s approach. Henry teaches you how to be a safe and assertive driver, to use all the information available to you on the road to make clear and informed decisions. Though he’s analytical expertise as well as astute observation of the road and behavioural tendencies he was able to soundly pick up and correct all aspects of my driving competency. It felt surreal driving home alone for the first time after passing the test as I was now a confident and aware driver. Happy driving and thanks once again Henry!
I had a two-hour lesson today with Henry, and it was fantastic. I have previously driven only in North America, and though I've been in Sydney for years, I've always been scared about driving on the left side. Henry made it so much easier than I could have imagined. He's extremely calm and confident - exactly the sort of person you want in the passenger seat when you're learning. He was eager to help with the specific issues I wanted to address, and he also quickly identified a number of ways I could improve my driving that I hadn't been aware of. His instructions and tips are clear and easy to remember, and his confidence is somehow infectious. The experience really allowed me to overcome the anxiety I've had for so long about driving here. If you're wondering if it's worth the money, I'd say definitely -- being a good driver is so important, and investing a bit of money for a few good lessons could save your life. Probably a good move even for experienced drivers who just want some expert suggestions and evaluation. I've already signed up to learn how to drive a manual with Henry, and looking forward to it! Also, he's a really nice guy.
After many years trying and putting off getting my licences I found Safe2go and decided to give them a try. After the first lesson with Henry I knew this was the instructor who would get me over my anxiety and fear of driving. From the get go I was comfortable and the way Henry teaches is not about passing the test but getting you to be the best and safest driver you can be. Each lesson I learned so much and at the end when it all came together it was such a great feeling. I learned so much more than just simply road rules, I am now a very confident driver and can't wait to get on the road. Henry has given me the freedom I was missing and can't thank him enough for that. I highly recommend Henry for anyone who finds it hard to relax while driving, you will learn so much and be a better driver at the end. Worth every cent.
After having panic attacks regularly for 10 years whilst driving; particularly on freeways, I recently used the services of Safe2Go. It was worth my travelling from Melbourne and staying in Sydney and the time and money I invested. Henry is highly professional and passionate. He has a wealth of knowledge, experience and an array of invaluable tools. He taught me essential driving fundamentals and the mechanics of the vehicle. This knowledge is powerful as it does not only make you a better driver, it could potentially save your life and other people's lives whilst on the road. Henry has acute observation skills and he provides constructive feedback and positive reinforcement. Although he is not a psychologist, he is more of a driving coach than simply a driving instructor and he has a high level of understanding and empathy regarding driving phobia, driving anxiety and panic attacks whilst driving. His calm and confident manner and the fact that he is a genuinely nice person put you instantly at ease. I cannot recommend Safe2Go highly enough.
Even though I have had my drivers license for a long time, I have struggled with fear of driving for years and for 10 years barely ever got behind the wheel. I've just had my last lesson with Henry and now enjoy driving and love the freedom and independence it gives me. Henry is a patient and supportive teacher with an excellent method of instruction. Whether you are learning how to drive from scratch or need to overcome anxiety, I would absolutely recommend taking lessons with Henry. It is worth the investment!
Thank you so much!! Highly recommend Henry's lessons for anyone who wants to learn driving the right way and build confidence to pass the drive test. I took a 2 hour lesson just an hour before my drive test and it was the best decision I probably made! Passed with a great score after a failed first attempt when I went on my own. I needed to unlearn a lot of driving habits which would have failed me again, but couldnt have asked for more from the class. Henry is not just another instructor, he specialises in overcoming your anxiety of the test by explaining why you 'must' do what you need to do. Each and every tip, every piece of advise is just spot on! Thorough professional and very patient and accommodative, he even spends time reviewing the driver's guide with you once the lesson is done, pointing out the key things to remember. Due to certain circumstances at work I ended up needing to pass my driving test ASAP as a new role I took on came up that involved lots of driving to different locations across the city. Until I passed I was spending at least 3 hours a day on public transport and was really feeling the pressure to pass due to the massive inconvenience of using public transport. Prior to using safe2go I tried another driving school that was cheaper however I felt I was getting no where and not getting the support and instruction I needed in order order to successfully get my license. Luckily, I came across safe2go online and was really impressed with the reviews. Although the sessions are more expensive than other driving schools the quality, experience and professionalism of the school was evident from my first lesson with Henry and it was absolutely worth paying extra for the quality, in depth lessons. Henry, with his professionalism and vast experience took the pressure out of the process of learning to drive and helped me learn to enjoy driving safely. With safe2go you are not just learning enough to pass, Henry taught me skills that will help keep me driving safely for the rest of my life. Throughout the process of learning to drive it was always clear Henry was totally committed to helping me gain the skills I needed and that I was not just 'another lesson' in his week. I have never written a review before but feel obliged to write one on this occasion to show my thanks and appreciation for the guidance and support I received. When I drive now I feel assured, confident and safe and that is all because of the personalized instruction I received. I hope other people read this and make the right decision by deciding to learn with safe2go!
5 stars without question. I've had my licence for years, but whilst going through a very stressful time I suffered a panic attack while driving on the freeway one day. This put me off getting behind the wheel for a number of years. Decided I needed to do something about it and after finding safe2go one day whilst researching what I could do about my situation I contacted Henry. One of the best decisions I have ever made. We arranged some lessons and within weeks I found my confidence returning. Henry is an amazing guide, patient and calm but above all else he is realistic about where your ability lies and what you need to focus on. He is also good at reinforcing road rules and giving you techniques to cope with stressful situations. Take note, Henry is not a psychologist which he makes very clear; if you are suffering with extreme anxiety then the lessons will probably help along side another form of therapy, but if you're lacking a bit of confidence and get a bit anxious about driving then these lessons are perfect. Henry helps you to reclaim your freedom, these lessons are worth every cent.
I decided to take driving lessons with Henry after reading so many positive reviews, I am used to drive but in Europe so I was lacking of confidence driving in Sydney. Henry was absolutely great, he went through the code rules, he gave me a few tips and after 2 different sessions with him I felt the same confidence as when I use to drive in Europe.
