I highly recommend Sacred Heart College as a place of learning and self development and discipline. I have 3 daughters who attended this school and loved their time there. From our experience, the teachers were committed and driven to achieving the best possible outcomes for our girls.
Overall really enjoyed my time there, the teachers I had were really good people who cared about their students. In regards to the uniform, they are slowly updating it into the modern era and ensuring that it is appropriate for the Kyneton weather, which is good. It's really not as strict as some are claiming.
Such a bad school. All they do is care about money and uniform. They give away suspensions for wearing the wrong socks and ridiculous other reasons. Not a single teacher in that place is good except Mr Oreo and ms Kime. They handle situations so badly and never result in any form of a solution. They get annoyed if you go to the bathroom during class even for girls reasons and if you go at recess the older year level kids are on their phones and if you dare come in you will go home with a broken nose. Please don’t go to this school.
Your conservatism and complete unwillingness to move with the times will be your undoing. Get with the 21st century seriously I guarantee you no one is thinking in the street “oh my god that student is wearing black nike socks instead of school socks.” Absolute shamble of a school that for some really weird reason refuses to let go of many of its defunct old ways and change when it desperately has to.
Yes I think a more balanced view is required in reviewing this school.nWe have 2 daughters attending Sacred Heart and whilst some staff may be a little bit over the top in regards to the uniform issue, overall the standard of education is good and the for the most part the teachers, and certainly in our experience the year level co-ordinators, do really care about the students well being, mental health and educational outcomes.
