The lady owning the restaurant was very friendly and kind. The restaurant is very clean and well designed. The food was very delicious. It tasted like homemade food and was in good portion. Overall a very good experience and this place will be my first choice if I want to have Persian food in Sydney. I just hope she will add kebabs in the menu.
One of the best Iranian restaurants in Sydney. They don't have any kebabs which is a bit of a letdown but what they do have is totally legit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend for both dining in and take away. Make sure to try the Ash Reshteh if you know what it is and like it, is you have never try tried Iranian food, ask the staff for recommendations, it's the best one I've had outside Iran.
I have been there 3 times already and I can't get enough of their delicious food. The rice cake is a must have. It's a bit of a naughty dish, as it's very oily, but it's so packed with flavour that you will want to become fat, if that is the price to pay for such a delicious thing! Have the stuffed olives, they are mind blowing! Honestly any dish is amazing. the eggplant and beef, so yummy! And the green eggplant deep, heaven!! So rich and abundant you will leave the restaurant feeling full and happy! And last but not least, the staff is lovely and super friendly. Thank you for providing such a great food!
A cosy place, perfect for family gatherings that offers a great and true taste of a persian dish. Foods tast like homemade dish that a persian Mum would serve! The staff were really nice and polite, and welcomed us like a family. Before we order, we had on the house treat dish hot bread and cheese which was good. We tried different dishes, all were great! Rice cakes both chicken or lamb were amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. Interestingly, the serving of the dishes were exactly the same as the pictures in the menu! I really hope the quality of the dishes stay steady. We will surely come back.
The food here is unpretentious and delicious and the serving size is generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone come here if they haven't tried Persian food before because it's well worth it and you'll come out happy and satisfied.
Fantastic service and superb food!! Sabz has become my favorite Persian restaurant in Sydney after the first visit. Food qualify is just like the best Persian home-made food, Staff are super friendly and considerable. They placed a table outside so that we can eat close to our dog. Servicing was very timely and pleasing. Very Happy with this restaurant and will surely recommend to all.
So many good review about this restaurant made my family and I book a table and travel all the way to five dock to have lunch and try their food. First, its not a ,restaurant and its not a cafe either it is something in between! Second Yes it was clean, but the food were really lower than average quality and they kept us waiting for the food for nearly over an hour. The barstool high chair was very uncomfortable. We ordered Iranian style pasta, it was too soft and overcooked and because it was pre made and frozen the defrosting and reheating process gave the food a very bad smell, the Persian rice was nice though as well as the eggplant dip. However, the main meals and overall feeling has given us a bad memory forever! We will never go back there!
Best persian restaurant in Sydney Super tasty Great customer service. Friendly staff. The only Persian restaurant in Australia with such wide range of authentic cuisines from all regions of Iran. Various vegan, vegetarian options also available. I would have liked the lighting reduced a bit and more warm colours to get a cosy restaurant sense at the dinner time.
Blown away by the taste and presentation of the food here! I got takeaway last night and every dish was very special. The jewelled rice and eggplant dip were particularly amazing. Staff were lovely when I came to pick up. Looking forward to dining in one day!
Spicy fish dish salmon with saffron rice $26, lamb neck rice cake $28 & green eggplant dip $9. Really enjoyed dinner! Definitely recommend.
