Nice park with a decent play are for dogs, incorporating benches and a dog drinking fountain.nnPoop bags also provided by the council, including a bin to dispose of the rubbish and poop bags.nnAlthough one large tree is inside the enclosed space, there is not a great deal of shade.
This park is great! My dog absolutely loves it. Been looking around for a local fenced dog park and this has been the best I could find close to Berwick. It’s fully fenced, it’s really big so dogs can run around everywhere for ages. Great community as well. Definitely becoming my local dog park to take my pup.
This is a great dog park, and excellent use of this long-vacant space. Its well fenced, and the council have had the good sense to put in some reasonably mature natives. I think they could do a bit more in the surrounding parkland, but otherwise this is a top rate facility.
Unsupervised dogs, irresponsible dog owners come to this park.nBetween 4.30pm- 6 pm everyday, the same group of irresponsible dog owners turns up at this time and thinks it a park for their social chatter and gathering and forgets it’s a dog park for dogs to play with other dogs.nAll dogs should be able to go to any dog park anytime of the day with out these regular dogs aggressively barking at the new ones coming to the park. These irresponsible dog owners don’t even correct their dog’s behaviours either. They are too busy gathered in a circle chatting along and leaving their dogs unsupervised and not correcting their dogs unacceptable behaviour and aggressive barking at other dogs in a PUBLIC DOG PARK -nThis place is more of an Irresponsible dog owner’s park than a dog park.
Dog poop bags, rubbish bin and a drinking fountain are available, the park is enclosed with fence. The grass need a bit of cutting, but overall a very pleasant space for dogs. People are chatty and friendly.
