Feel like cooling off after a hard days work, then head on over to Ryan Weare Park in Freshwater. It's a little Oasis.  Perfect spot for a picnic and great for kids. The water hole is surrounded by beautiful shady trees and there is a play area for children and even toilet facilities. Can take your dog on a leash but don't forget to clean up after him/her. We are truly spoilt living in beautiful Cairns. Enjoy

So many treasured memories from this swimming hole.  Make sure the water is running nicely here before getting in.  Lovely local hideout.

Tease and Sassi love to come here and have a swim after a long walk and it is a great place for there Master to sit on a rock and chill

Beautiful. Not a bad spot for a dip. Great running path nearby.

I used to walk my dogs here regularly and let them swim in the creek when hot. They loved it. When the older one passed away I scattered his ashes there. I have since moved to Adelaide but when I visit Cairns I will visit that special place.
