Story

Russell was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia in 1972. Prior to establishing his own practice at Norwest Business Park, Russell was the Chairman of Partners of a Large Parramatta firm practicing in its commercial group.

Russell now specializes in business law, property law and disputed estates especially in relation to Family Provision Act applications. He also has extensive experience in property development law and environmental law. To keep up to date with the ever changing law he regularly attends continuing legal education programs.

Russell was appointed as a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law in 1994.

He was appointed as Notary Public by the Supreme Court in 1992 and this appointment has greatly assisted the international clients of the firm.

Russell was appointed as an Arbitrator in the District Court but recently resigned that position to concentrate on his business and commercial law practice.

He is proud to be a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and has been involved in Law Society activities at a local level.

In his spare time Russell has a keen interest in classic cars and is presently restoring an MG and an Austin Healey

Russell Kelly and Associates is a commercially orientated law firm aiming to assist both private individuals and business entrepreneurs.

We seek to achieve to understand our clients needs and then provide practical, innovative and understandable solutions to legal problems whilst meeting our clients’ needs, expectations and budgets.

Because of our legal and commercial background, we believe we are well suited to assist private individuals and business owners which can only be achieved by developing a close personal relationship with our clients – such a relationship not normally being provided when retaining larger law firms.

We have developed strong associations with interstate and overseas lawyers and additionally work within a network to advise on associated business areas such as accountancy, marketing, insurance, occupational health and safety, land valuation, financing, town planning and intellectual property registration
