Story

Run Rabbit Run features simple, delicious and wholesome food for Breakfast and lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner Friday and Saturday nights as well. Our wood fire roasted coffee is quite extraordinary with beautiful caramel undertones. Where we can we source our wines locally including Mt Alexander, Harcourt Valley, Welshmans Reef and Maldon. Where possible we will cater to your dietary needs with a range of vegetarian, vegan and GF options.

Great food, lovely old charm atmosphere, great staff. Will certainly come again.
Went there for lunch today, the staff were stressed & abrupt verging on being rude. Food & drinks took a very long time to arrive but were quite good when we got them. Better quality ice cream in the iced coffee would have been nice. Almost felt like we were an imposition.

If youre after food thats got sass, this is the place for you. The coffee is amazing too!

Arrived at cafe for some breakfast. Had a woman presumed owner approach us for service. Found her very aggressive in requesting to see identification to prove I was a resident in Castlemaine. Due to her approach felt very offended and left. Felt a sense of discrimination based on looking queer. Will not go again.
Rude service, didn't believe that we were locals and demanded our identification. Understand covid restrictions but wasn't the welcoming Castlemaine experience I've had. Won't be returning.
