We went this evening for our wedding anniversary and it was so lovely. Food was delicious and generous, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.
Above my expectation. I tried Gheymeh Bademjan; fresh, delicious, and authentic. The internal design of the restaurant is beautiful traditional Persian style. Staff are attentive and try their best to make an unforgettable time for you. It’s highly recommended and is a must to do in Auckland for food explorers.

Rumi's one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I tried almost everything there and never got upset.
Went to have dinner somewhere else but no room so decided to try Rumi and have had a very nice dinner. The food is authentic Persian and very nicely presented the staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. Highly recommend and the cost is low in comparison to Parnell prices.
Oh my gosh .... best Mediterranean food in town .... the salmon i had was just melt in the mouth amazing and the lamb and chicken skewers my partner had were to die for. But the best part of the meal was the baklava with saffron ice cream! I might have died and gone to heaven soooooo good. Will be a frequent flyer at this one !!!
This is such a lovely restuarant! On my second visit I took my partner for his birthday - the food was wonderful and they treated us to a complementary tea after bringing out the small rocky road pie I brought in as a surprise desert. A must visit, gorgeous atmosphere.
Beautiful restaurant, authentic Persian food - the only ive found in New Zealand. The staff is kind and the service is amazing. The saffron ice cream with pistachios was perfect, the flavours brought me back to my childhood :
