my partner received a letter requesting to finalise his layby as it was past it's due date as I forgot about it since I no longer worked there. When we presented at the store to pay the full amount and show the letter received, the new Manager yelled from behind a swinger of rugs that we must have the original receipt and show photo ID. So ID was produced and then she starts yelling that we are not to be served and we have to leave the store immediately or she will call the police. Completely shocked at this outburst I said that was fine, we will wait for the police then. All I was trying to do is pay money requested in a letter she sent us and I wasn't at all rude or disruptive. This bizarre and aggressive behavior was unnecessary and unprovoked. This raised concerns of the mental stability that now lurks here. I could see customers who were passing by , very shocked at the colorful language this staff member was yelling from across the back of the store. I am glad I was able to react quick enough to use my phone to record this abusive outburst!
