Appointment for 5:20 snuck out early to get here 5:15 and am sitting here at 7pm writing this review, still waiting to be seen. What’s the point in making appointments if you’re going to have to wait hours to be seen? I really like the doctor I see, which is why I see her. But she’s very thorough and personable so if you know she’s going to take 30 minutes with each patient, allow more time between bookings. Happened the past few times I’ve come here.
When I scrapped the skin back on part of my hand, I had to go to Rudloc Medical Centre get my hand seen to. The receptionist was easy to talk to I think it is the way you treat them that helps. Each Doctor I saw was pleasant although seemed rushed, but that is more about the workload and what they are dealing with. Lastly but not least, is the treatment room. The nurses in there are extremely pleasant and are very good at their jobs. One in particular dealt with my hand and because of her expertise my skin did not have to get cut off and has now healed on two sides. The third side is still getting there. This is not bad for just over a week when I scrapped the skin back.
Ashlee was wonderful in the treatment room she kept me comfortable and assured the whole time. Dr Lee is a brilliant doctor who cares for his patients. He is very thorough and makes me feel like I’m heard. Best surgery I have been to!
Dr Thomas is diligent and caring. Looks after me and my wife and I am happy to recommend. Betty my care plan nurse is very knowledgeable and a perfectionist at keeping me on track. The reception staff and nurses are always under the pump but I've always found them to be professional and courteous. Belinda my physio is fantastic!
Every time I come here, it doesn't matter if I make a booking and/or take a number to get a blood test etc. I'm always kept waiting 40+ minutes at least. Somehow people always jump the queue, the sign in portal doesn't ever work and despite confirming on the App you still need to let one of the busy as hell staff know that you are here to check-in, they aren't even apologeticc or understanding either.. Come here if you don't mind wasting the better part of your day. Had an appointment for 8:50, arrived 20 minutes earlier and I'm still waiting to see the doctor at 9:25. What is the point of an online booking portal if it doesn't work?
Love the App. So easy to book a Doctor and choose convenient mutual time. All Doctors very caring. However, reception needs more attention. Having to wait 5+mins when you arrive on time, before being acknowledged by the receptionist is unacceptable. I am not invisible.
Yeah nah. Another medical practice cutting costs via poor customer service and ridiculous wait times. Understaffed reception non responsive ph lines. Zero respect for peoples' time. It's not as though they are struggling for a dollar I suspect, just simply the medical industry at work. The owner only responds to positive feedback on here it seems. Yet look at the low overall rating. Says it all
This place seems to get roasted in reviews. But my experience was pretty positive. The doctor and phlebotomist who dealt with me were friendly and reassuring. Yes there's some waiting, but it bulk bills so this is to be expected. What on earth do you expect for no charge??
Dr. Thomas is the best GP I’ve encountered. He is patient, empathetic and supportive. This practice is generally very busy and fully booked, yet the level of care never falters. The world needs more Doctors like him!
Booked a post operative appt with my regular GP. Get there to discover they have started charging for weekends so I can't see my Dr. Fine. So I ask the receptionist to please pass on my post operative report to my GP and she responds with "Whats is he going to do with that?". Good one. If I have an infection in the wound on my neck I will hold her personally responsible. Heres another tip. If you are going to change your billing structure then advise your patients BEFOREHAND. Not when they rock up.
