Called in here en route to Bright and had the worst toastie ham and cheese ever, from a cafe. El cheapo cheddar slice and ham on plain old tip top bread. Cooked in a press plate that came out with runny cheese and as thick as two fifty cent coins. Come on Rubys you’ve got to do better than that for a cafe. Coffee was good.

The young lady was only to happy to make up a chicken salad roll for my wife, and I had a chicken schnitzel, bacon roll. Very nice.Food: 4/5

Had a coffee, and it was atrocious, with absolutely no foam/textured milk, let alone any crema: it was essentially a shot of espresso with hot milk thrown in. Unfortunately, I didn't realise until once I returned home, otherwise I would have asked for a refund.  I can only assume the person who made it has never had a properly made coffee before and hasn't had any professional training or just doesn't care.

Great range of foods on the menu.  Pies and sausage rolls were good.  Chips were done just right.  Decaf coffee was very good.  Very pleasant dog friendly spot with plenty of outdoor seating.  Staff were pleasant and brought out water for our dogs.  Prices were good.  No gluten free options unfortunately.

Called in for the second and last time ,  Thought I'd give this business the benefit of the doubt with their extremely over priced food. I tried the Terriake chicken dish at $14  which finished up in the bin after the second odd tasting Supermarket marinade  ,  and the most unfriendly dry staff for a country town atmosphere.  Sorry girls but good luck..

Stopped by on a work trip and had to return the next day as I enjoyed it so much. Excellent scrambled egg and bacon rolls and coffee. Lovely service too.

YUM! Came here for a quick stop after visiting falls and were SO glad we did. We ordered 2 dimmies and a medium chips with gravy. The gravy was so yummy. They also threw in an extra dimmy for free. Will be back!

Ruby's is a true gem! With wonderfully charming coffee and scrumptious food, it makes the pefect stop on any trip through regional Victoria. Oh, and Scott really enjoyed meeting the happy little dwarf out the front!
