Go here sometimes to see the animals. The canals were all well kept, the animals well looked after. Great to get my dose of doggy/kitty love. Would love to pat/hug/comfort some of them, but most are closed off. Each animal has a screen telling their story/name/breed/personality/cost. They also have other random animals that come through for adoption - lizards, turtles, tropical birds etc.

Got our beautiful boy yesterday , I have read a lot of negative comments posted here and I can say the staff went above and beyond staying after closing time , staying hours after they were meant to leave to give every animal there a chance for their forever home. We are extremely lucky and forever grateful Hammer has been a wonderful addition to our household and truly loved by our children

Great service and cause. Take your kids... and your dog. Cats, birds, dogs, small animals, reptiles and birds... all up for adoption. Small cafe on-site. Dog wash around the corner. Pet supply shop and little op shop also just outside.

Good with helping you to match the right dog to you / your household. I haven't seen add much support in the cat side. Facilities are nice.

The centre itself is well set out with a number of animals on display up for adoption. You can walk around and visit a lot, if not all, of them and in my experience staff are always ready to help or offer you a pat. The carpark is all out in the sun and can get very hot in the middle of the day, and also fills up fairly quickly during peak times. There are a few shops and cafes in and around the centre as well.
