I work at a Chevrolet dealership in St. Louis and we recieved a transport of 2 of our ordered vehicles from RPM. The Equinox premier that we received has body damage on it and they will not send me a delivery sheet. Since the delivery was not during business hours one of our porters did not check it in. It would be nice to get that so I can open up a case with GM to get the damage taken care of.
First and fore most they NEVER answer the phone I’ve called 4 or 5 different number and can never get anyone. Literally always have issues when requesting loads. Never have their stuff in order. Everytime I’ve tried to pick a load up through rpm there is always something that makes it where I can’t pick up vehicle. It’s like they don’t communicate within their own company cause they are never on the same page.
Bought a vehicle and had it shipped from Florida to Michigan. This was the shipper provided by the seller, shipper provided terrible service. Initially provided me with expected delivery date of June 1st, stated they could not find a driver, changed to June 3rd, fine I can live with that. No phone number provided, only answers questions via email. Explained via email it had to be by Friday 06/03 because I would be gone the next few days, no response. Supposedly the driver would call me at pick up and schedule a delivery time, no contact was made but the seller told me it was picked up. Friday 3pm no word from anyone at all, link still says delivery by 4pm Friday. Emailed my only contact to ask for an update and drivers number. I received an email with drivers number only. Upon calling him he doesn't really speak English and states car will arrive Saturday or Sunday, he doesn't know. Email my only contact at RPM to please call me, no response. Looked up RPM number and called Midwest transport division, no response. Called SE transport division who seemed very confused, after some time on hold they stated the person I was emailing was ready to speak with me. Transferred call which then went to her voicemail. Further calls to both divisions just ring without anyone picking up. Clearly avoiding me at this point and I have no clear idea when vehicle is arriving. Taking it up through the TRED the seller. Shipping is all you do, how are you this bad at it?
Truckers beware these people don't pay any detention whatsoever and they jerk you around for weeks on end strictly for their amusement. Daniel and Jesus gave me the run around for weeks telling me my detention was on the way. Seriously book a load with literally any other company cause if you haul a load for this company you are guaranteed to lose money.
Been waiting over 2 weeks on a payment that was supposed to be a quick pay. No one answers the phone or responds to emails. BEWARE Carriers smh
Don't do business with shady people. Was told the layover is 250 but changed to 150 because that's the customer approved. If you want to be screwed over be the guest.
The RPM drivers show up wearing flip flops, they've been seen urinating near the trucks on the lot. They go shirtless. They do not follow the rules on the lot. They show up with no BOL. Very poor at following directions. We've had to band a few drivers off our lots. Most speak Russian and cannot be understood even with interpretation. They drive too fast on the lots. They move vehicles and do not put them back in the correct bay location. The most unprofessional drivers I've ever worked with
Worked for them for 2.5 weeks and quit. Trying to be a pro-company without any sort of professional guidance. Selling hard on culture while sitting around playing games. Leadership is powertrip. Not worth the time norepinephrine effort
Meet with a few team leads here, the culture of the company is impressive. Fast growing, highly motivated and very intelligent individuals in logistics.
