Horrible. Reception cancel your appointments without any notification no email, text nothing and they don’t apologise for it. I had to wait SIX months for my appointment which got cancelled without my permission. I have seen this happen to many other patients. Reception is disorganised, nurse ward is disorganised and ridiculously inaccessible, rude staff. You’re one of the largest public heath services in Sydney, RPA. Do better!!
The infusion centre is a circus. I’ve been going for years and making appointments is always a nightmare. They refuse to hire more than one dodgy admin person which, especially during Covid, isn’t good enough. Thousands of dollars of blood products are wasted regularly due to miscommunication, poor management and missed appointments. Naturally this is always blamed on patients so that they don’t have to hire more staff or be accountable for all the wastage.
The line for the Covid clinic was about 2 hours long today. The staff were fantastic, polite and tried to keep the line moving as best they could. The line is outdoors under the summer sun, so make sure you slip, slop, slap as prep otherwise you'll be in for a nasty sunburn. Take some water
Had appointment at dermatologist at gloucester house RPA hospital yesterday 7/4 just want to say how professional all the staff and nurses docters where awaiting tests thanks.
Attended the Breastscreen today at Gloucester House for a follow-up. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very caring and professional.
They looked after me really well, was happy with the outcome and their treatment of me, very profesional.
