Rozelle market at Balmain is good place to visit for relaxing and cafe as many car parks but still not enough to supply for the demands. Unfortunately raining day affects those café businesses as most of the outdoor seats are wet.nnAmazing view of Sydney tower from here. City views are a bit foggy too and look fabulous.nnWe enjoyed the rainy walk as those snowy rain drops are phenomenal.
Had much fun as looking around the booths with all those old and unique items. It’s a shame that many of them refused pay by card or transfer since I almost never carry cash. Had some gozelme, recommended by a formal Sydney resident friend, and those tasted so good. Took a while to get the food but was worth the wait. Plus they accept card, fortunately!
Attended the markets on 6/1/24. Items for sale range from small random Knick knacks to high end dead stock designer clothing. Highlights were: Scanlan Theodore for over 50% off, fur jacket for $15, blind date with a book.
A rare gem that looks n feels like your clsssic Flea market.nIt has retained its distinct grass roots vibe despite being sat in heavily gentrified yuppified Rozelle... Makes me happy that some things remain the same.
You want a blast from the past...this is it! One of my fav stalls are the couple towards the back wall by the parking lot who play beautiful jazz music. What great finds.nnSecond hand life. Clothes galore. No need to pay to get in. Vintage galore. This is where stores come to purchase to re up. The one pit stop. The unique finds you pay have to cough up more but less than the antique stores. Price perfect on the whole. Fabulous finds always if you're up for treasure hunting!
