Beautiful and well maintained. Whether you want to spend an hour or the whole day, there is plenty to look around. There are plenty of lawns to laze around on, have a picnic or just run around with the kids. Don't miss the lily pond. In my opinion, It's the best of the lot
Was on our must visit list but probably not on top of the list , it's Christmas day n most things were closed so made a visit n boy was it worth it! Beautiful, well maintained vast gardens with a variety of things n thousands of varieties of plants. Some good views n plenty of space for a picnic this place is a must visit for anyone!
We made a short stop to the Botanic Gardens but could have stayed longer. They are very beautiful - I particularly liked the Lily Pond, and it was good to see the native Tasmanian plants all in one place. Nice gift shop too.
Loved every moment! Went there with my 3 years old princess and it was a great experience for both of us. The vibe of the Japanese Garden is simply breathtaking Great picnic spot too!
Nice place to spend the day. Pretty quiet despite being next to the highway. Unfortunately there was a large section under construction but I'm sure that'll be great when it's finished. Worth visiting the restaurant for a meal too.
The Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is the perfect place to take a walk and indulge in a world of greenery. Fairly small compared to interstate gardens, the Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is an intimate affair making it a great place to have a romantic picnic or afternoon snooze under the trees.
