When I walked into the Harris Farm at Randwick, my eyes lit up. As a foodie it made me feel like I had walked into the mecca of food lovers paradise. Every single row of fresh produce is full high quality produce and looks fresh. The store is well laid out and the team members are friendly and knowledgeable. I found some really unique and cool ingredients like Australian finger limes and Jerusalem artichokes in stock. It is rare for me to feel so excited about a fruit shop, one may say ‘you have seen one and you have seen them’. Wrong. Try this Harris farm and you will see what I’m on about.
Saria made amazing custom flower bouquets when I requested it. She put a lot of patience and effort for the big flower bouquet that I requested. I am really grateful.
I placed an order to have a gift pack and some gourmet products delivered as a Christmas present to our son who lives in Sydney. Online ordering was easy. Communication from Harris Farms via email and text was excellent! Tracking information for the delivery was time accurate. I was very happy with the whole process and highly recommend them.
I don’t mind paying a premium for what is often quality food. I don’t mind having to decipher the misleading 2 for $4 or $2 each in fine print signs but having to queue 20+ deep to get out of the store is a joke, worse when they’re hiring young/cheap labour.
Love to shop at Harris Farm. For me the set up of this particular location, from isle to cashier a little bit odd, somehow is confusing, nit like other Harris Farm Markets on other locations. I’ll always check on “save me” section, where sometimes you can get jackpot of good quality meat or seafoods on discounted price.
Just few years ago this supermarket was my preferable place for shopping. Not anymore. Prices were always a little higher than in Coles and Woolworth, but products were fresh. Over last couple of years quality dropped. I even saw few times "out of date" food on the shelves. It is sad.
Great range of variety of foodstuffs, although some shelf stock has passed its Best Before date. I bought cheese here last year that had drifted past the Best Before date and was not fit for human consumption, since I live quite a long distance away, returning it for a refund was too much effort. Staff seem to be quite detached in their attitude to customers.
Good store layout. Prices were mixed - some good bargains, others you can do better at either Woolies or Coles. Produce was fresh and in beautiful condition so I guess you pay for quality here. The queue for the checkouts is right by where they bake the bread. This is so deliberate as the smell of fresh hot bread is intoxicating. Only those with the strongest of wills or are gluten intolerant can resist buying a loaf.
I am new to the area and having always shopped at Bondi Junction and Rose Bay I am bitterly disappointed. The produce is definitely not as good the choice and selection is sub standard compared to the other stores the layout of the store is not conducive to any easy shopping experience. This store needs a complete make over to bring it up to the standard of the other stores. It is very tired and does not look clean. Hopefully this review will be read and action will be taken.
My son bought me a bouquet on Mother’s Day , we saw the price tag on top of the wrapping is $50 , when we paid the cashier charged me $65 ?? So I double checked with her , so I found suddenly there was 3 price tag behind the bouquet $55 and $65 ?? I complained , the cashier called 2 other girls in the shop to confirm the price and they couldn’t tell straight away , so confusing and very unprofessional one of them called me rude because I asked for my money back , I said how come there is so many price tag in one bouquet?? Finally one girl told us the price is $50 but I already sick to see their argument and they are who being rude to the customer!! I canceled my purchase , please next time make sure be carefull when you put the price tag on!!
