Story

One of Australia’s premier yacht clubs overlooking the Manly Boat Harbour, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is proud of its long history dating back to 1885 when established and still to this day is “the place” for boaties to meet, compete and socialise.

The Squadron has evolved into a multi-faceted organisation and members, some third and fourth generation families, enjoy a comprehensive range of facilities, both on and off the water.

Great place to learn to sail with significant heritage. Huge marina and boat stowage. Large dining venue including many areas of varying including outdoors immediately adjacent the water. Covid conscious. Kids  shaded play area with ample nearby seating for parents. RAMP access to main building and dining areas.

Why it is an extraordinary club. With facilities galore. Something even your mother would be proud of. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the storm shelter Fergus and lovely Lisa for your smile and pleasant chat. The bar and staff are first class.

Best entertainment on Sunday 13th December. Dean Gray played. Amazing arvo

Very inviting place that maintains very high standards. Good food from both cafe and restaurant. Good atmosphere and staff that are happy to help

Great atmosphere, service and food. Highly recommend spending your afternoon relaxing in this beautiful part of Manly. Looking forward to the restaurant being open again.
