Bit rundown pub, that has its glory days long gone, but surprisingly great selection of food including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which was really surprising to find. Otherwise everything you can expect from pub plenty of beers to chose and even tea if you after one. Service very nice and kind. Sever seating options at bar, separate dining area more quiet behind and few outdoor seating. Something for everyone
Good service, food was good for the price. I can definitely recommend the burger however probably give the pork bites a miss.
Food is excellent. Solid serving size. Came out very quick. Staff are very friendly. They were able to accomodate our 11 people. Ended up spending a couple of hours to enjoy the live music after dinner. Food for the kids was great.
Great food affordable and value for money..staff were welcoming and accomodating the kitchen had closed and we were late ordering dessert but they went above and beyond to get a dessert for our mother and venue is superb. Would recommend.
Great service for my partners 30th last night! Excellent food and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Michael was amazing ensuring we had everything organised the way we wanted and that everything ran smoothly on the night. Thank you again for all your help! Jaz was an absolutely amazing bartender and ran the room so well. Definitely hit this girl up if you're not sure what you feel like drinking - she has some killer recommendations. It was a very busy night with the main bar having a live band - and I could not say one bad thing about how the whole staff ran the night for us. Apologies again for staying so late! Would 100% recommend the Royal Oak for anyone's birthday or celebration!
First time in Adelaide and dropped in on a whim, really fun atmosphere, super friendly, and Brooke and Steph made me feel so welcome and kept me company and showed me the ropes. Will definitely be back!
Well this time around something has changed since the last time . The menu had nothing available and then to be told they didn’t have eggs it was difficult to choose something to eat as nothing was available then the order was stuffed up and my pet hate of the meals not coming out together.I did notice it was a lot quieter than has been in the past ? Maybe change of management or chefs.? Not the best experience
Excellent Service by the staff Sunday Night 19th March. Nothing was a problem...Staff were considerate and quick Food was awesome Beef Snitty and the Vegan options are good too.
Great meals, friendly staff. Eclectic mix of tables and chairs but comfortable and reasonable value. Will revisit. Yep still great value. Pittt they do not have a choice of a smaller SD Schnitty
Super underwhelming experience unfortunately. We were here for a birthday celebration, but our booking didn’t have adequate seating which was strange considering the restaurant was empty and I had called to confirm numbers. Came here for the huge menu and found it wasn’t all available and I could only have sides due to my dietary requirements. Staff all seems bored and incompetent, weren’t helpful at all. Really disappointing.
