When we think about Indian food, Bombay's restaurant is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything were outstanding, my Daal khichadi, Manchurian, and Momos might have been the best meal I have ever been served. The food was delightful and had very professional packaging and presentation. 10/10
Easily the worst meal we have had. The spices in the curry weren’t grind fine enough, have a mouthful of seeds in the mouth from every curry so they all tasted the same. Biryani is curry on steamed rice! The serve is extremely small, 4 pieces of lamb, the fish is all mushy in the sauce and the smallest naan bread.
Ordered through EatClub tonight. Arrived on time only to be told they didn't get our order. We waited for over 45 mins for our meal. Uber delivery staff and Other food companies experienced same delays. I waited patiently and put it down to staffing issues. I arrived home only to find poor serving sizes and meat with bones, arteries and poor flavour. Not happy and will not return to this place ever again!
We had a good dinner the starter Tempura prawn and Tangadi Chicken kebab above the level and the butter chicken is not a usual dish like other restaurant. A special thanks for the Customer service is outstanding . At last we find a good North India Restaurant. All the very best.
The dishes are very awesome. Defiantly recommended and I will visit again when I want to have Indian food. Authentic Indian dishes. I had royal goat curry and Chicken Tikka Masala curry. Both are very good. Very friendly service too. The space are not crowd too. Make you feel comfortable.
Where to start. First the butter chicken was so sweet, had almost no chicken in it and the spices were not ground well. The chicken tikka masala also had almost no chicken I. It. It was 90% onion and capsicum. Was extremely hot and spices weren’t groundfull peppercorns are not very nice to eat Saffron rice was very meh. All you could taste was coriander and the colouring was not on all the rice so it seems like it was added after to steamed rice. The naan breads were so tiny, thin and crispy and wayyyyy over priced. The papadums were stale and extremely salty. It took over 30minutes for the food to be made and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had a 40% off and even at that price it wasn’t worth what we paid.
Hosted my birthday party here recently and enjoyed wonderful hospitality and food! New owners and new name has brought freshness to the decor and service. Conveniently located in the busy Payneham road with ample parking spaces around. Check out their whisky selections and other drinks.
The best Indian curries I have ever had, just the portion is a bit small. Papadum, mango lassi and saffron rice are delicious too. The mixed entree are too dry.
Unforgettable experience! Friendly staff & Yummy food. Most importantly, I enjoyed the culture! Jasper
The worst worst food ever specially butter chicken. Burnt chicken with lots of sugar in it. Also the worst amritsari fish only 4 pieces which we threw straight away. One of the worst experience never going back
