The park is awesome, you can find birds, duck and chicken here, it js fun to walk around with kids
Stunning Park. Great for kids, families, dogs, and seniors alike. Local cafe which welcomes dogs and their owners to sit outside. Public toilets and a playground on the premises. Be careful not to feed the ducks bread though as it's bad for them :
Roy Amer Reserve is a not too big park which has about 6 small and medium ponds here. There are many aquatic creatures inhabited here, such as Australian pelican, Australian white ibis, River Murray Rainbow fish, White-faced Heron, Australian Crake, Eurasian Coot, Maned duck, Mallard and many other water birds and some kinds of frogs etc. There are a few small parking lots around and barbecue places. A public toilet is in the center of the park.
Beautiful park. Lovely areas to walk, sit or have a picnic, lots of shady places and now a bench in honour of Ian Whitmore.
Beautiful area for a walk. There are lots of different birds around, plenty of shade and they have toilet facilities.
Very nice reserve in a relaxing, local setting. There are small lakes to walk around and bridges to cross. The wildlife consists of plenty of bird life and frogs. Signs attest to fish in the water. The public/disability toilet block is a nicely painted and well kept building and not the usual dump that many parks have. The water facilities are the only thing I can complain about as they do not supply water for dog walking or filling water bottles. There are plenty of benches and some bbq facilities. There is a fenced off playground and a conveniently located cafe within easy walking.
Lovely place to walk or ride around. It just needs another toilet and maybe a playground update.
Very pretty little park, gentle walkways, lots of birds, good facilities. Lots of benches to sit on.
Nice park with duck pond/playground/BBQ/toilet/seating areas/cafe and good place to take the dog for a walk.
A lovely park for walks, bbqs and getting back to nature. A little hidden gem in the suburbs. Clean, tidy bbqs and tables with public toilets close by the bbq areas. Restrooms: Clean toilets Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space to walk dogs Picnic area: Clean tables with 3 bbqs to use.
