Trying to find a place to take a group of 10 to dinner for my daughters 16th Birthday today. Getting a bit peed off , at Rottnest hotel was told don't take bookings, but dont worry we won't be busy!

Great place to snorkel, cycle and relax. Beaches are safe for kids.

We stayed at the campground here over a weekend in October. The campground itself is nice enough, with clean bathrooms and showers. The problem is the lack of supervision at the campground. My wife heard the load groaning sounds of people having sex in the female showers while taking our two-year-old to the bathroom. At night groups of young men were roaming around the campsite shouting and screaming until about 2 AM.

Good campsite - clean facilities, right next to the beach, close to the general store. Stayed two nights twice. $38 a night is not cheap for a campsite, but still by far the cheapest option on the island. Booking available online, but it's not always accurate. One yimr we were looking to book on thursday for friday night and the system said nothing was available. We called up on friday morning and were told that two spota were left. So we booked and arrived expecting it to be packed, but it was almost empty! Only a few spots taken! Perhaps loads of people book and don't show up. But the weather was awesome too, so not sure what happened there. The kitchen has four hotplates, two kettles, a toaster and a sandwich maker + sockets to charge your phone. The showers are clean and nice

Great place to explore and learn. An interesting history behind the island to learn about. A good spot to spend the weekend with friends or family or simply just a day visit. Variety of beaches to relax, places to fish and plenty to explore beneath the ocean. Cafes and Restaurants located on island as well as accomodation. Ferry is $$$.
