Consistently excellent value. We regularly attend the dine in and enjoy a variety of Thai style meals. Staff make you feel welcome and meals are always well presented and wholesome. Unfortunately the photos do not do justice to the quality of food. Vegetarian options: A excellent variety of vegetarian options are available.
We had dinner here on our last night in Dubbo. We ordered crying tiger and Thai Fish cake for Entree. For mains we had combination Pad Thai, Rose Gai Fish fillet. For dessert we had deep fried icecream and fresh mango with coconut sticky rice. The entree were delicious. I really enjoyed the crying tiger. The fish cake was juicy and fragrant. Couldn't go wrong there. The mains was slightly average. I initially ordered Rose Gai with chicken, but we got Fish fillet instead. We didn't return it as I was already hungry. It turned out delicious! Combination Pad Thai was average. I think it was a bit on the wet side rather that the dry side. The bean sprouts and spring onion was cooked in, so was no longer crisp, also not enough nuts. I enjoyed the mango sticky rice, but my partner did not really enjoy his fried icecream. Parking: Parking spots available infront of the restaurant
We had lunch for two on a Saturday… They had great value lunch specials with a huge range to choose from, although we opted for the normal menu. We had the best service and the food we fantastic…we shared sesame prawn and har-gow for entree and mains we had Siam duck, pad prik king soft shell crab and a hot green chicken curry… There’s no need to ask for extra spice as each dish come exactly how we ordered and the flavours were wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this place and it is now officially my favourite place to eat!!!
The food was ok as far as Thai food goes but the atmosphere of the place made me want to leave about 5mins from being there. I sat down with my wife and two children and received stares from patrons and staff alike. I don't think we were dressed too bad for a restaurant like this or anything like that so not sure what the problem was. There were no baby seats available so maybe babies are not allowed there? It just didn't seem like that fancy of place so I didn't think it would be an issue. My children were behaved and were relatively quiet. To be honest I just really wanted to get out of there and find somewhere else to eat.
Wonderful fresh food! Friendly service. Wide menu choices. Mydaughter rates Dubbo Rose Garden as the best Thai food in Australia!! We went to Thai West this time as it was closer to our accommodation.Food: 5/5
A nice little Thai restaurant in the zoo district of Dubbo. My partner had their Rose Gai and it was beautiful unfortunately my Pad Thai was only average. The fish cakes and crying tiger we had for entree were nice as well. Parking: Car park at the front Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level and they have a disabled toilet.
Love the staff here, very friendly and good service , I always order the same food which is their very yummy Tom Yum Goong soup entree size , and the Thai beef salad hot I have been going to them for for years now and never had a problem with my food, thank you girls .
One of my favourite Thai restaurants in Australia! Food is great, lunch deals are great value and staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary chocolate after the meal is a lovely extra touch
Highly deserving of a gold star. The dishes were superb; veggies still crisp with an authentic taste. I had the Taw Hu Pad Prik whereas my partner ordered the chicken Hor Mok. Be mindful that they’re highly popular with takeaways with a long line-up, but we dined in and encountered no issues. Really loved the fact they serve local wines the See Saw Shiraz from Orange was a winner. Would definitely visit again.
Yet again, this place didn't disappont. Food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the pad kratriem
