Man do I love this little place The food is fresh and delicious, my coffee is always on point and the staff are super lovely. Highly recommend the Sausage Rolls. Especially the Sweet Chilli Sausage Rolls!!!!
A very good country bakery. A great range of hot pies and pasties, and sweet pastries. Their vanilla slice is spot on. The bread options are okay but nothing too fancy.
Bread and most of the cakes are pretty good but the pies have gone downhill lately. I had a steak, cheese and tomato pie and it was dry and the pastry was hard enough for me to bang it on the table and give a friend a fright. It was well before 1pm so it shouldn't have been sitting in the warmer for that long unless they don't rotate their stock properly. Gave them 3 stars only because the other pie I bought for my friend was a lot better.
Never been to this bakery before. Once I bit into the steak and cheese pie I turned ravenous! Whoa...these pies are crazy yum. I'm a kiwi...so we know taste when it comes to pies and these were definite thumbs up The sausage rolls were large...and yes again....delicious home made sausage filling and buttery flaky pastry. When I was In the shop I could not take my gaze off the vanilla slices in the glass cabinet. Saying the custard was large was an understatement. I thought I'd wait till I got home to try those with a cuppa. All my kids came out like rogue ants and they were gone in a snap! Making the 40 min trip to Romsey is worth it just to satisfy my pie craving. Thank you for the wonderful food you make Romsey Hot Bread Kitchen....I will be spreading the word!
One of the Stake Cheese & Bacon pies I have had in ages, plenty of cheese which you could actualy taste, yummy meat n gravy too. Sausage Roll was full of flavour with beatiful pastry, fair pricing, well worth the stop!
I had a lovely Steak,cheese and bacon pie there to, tasted very bacony if that's a word.
My local bakery and one that I consistently enjoy visiting. Prices are fair and the food quality has always been excellent. Can’t go wrong!
Amazing bread! Amazing amazing jam donuts! Great Pies and cakes. A truly wonderful country bakery. And I don't drink coffee but the coffee machine is always busy so clearly their is great coffee too!!
Great bakery. I always drop in for a pie when I travelling past. Donuts are top quality too. You cant go wrong with a pie, donut combo.
Friendly staff, great food with a good selection of pastries, cakes and they serve coffee
