The Corte Suprema di Cassazione is an impressive building located in the heart of Rome. As the highest court of appeal in Italy, it plays a vital role in the country's legal system. The exterior of the building is striking, with a grand facade and impressive architecture. It's definitely worth taking a moment to stop and admire the building's design. Located in the city center, the Corte Suprema di Cassazione is easily accessible and can be included as part of a wider walking tour of the city. Whether you're interested in law, history, or simply appreciate beautiful buildings, the Corte Suprema di Cassazione is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!
Really huge palace. It's very impressive and rich of art. I love the fountains in a shape of shells on a sidewalk level.
Not very famous but what a nice surprise! The architecture is impressive, the park at the front makes it even more enjoyable. Underrated spot, highly recommended.
Very beautiful. Stay on the Ponte Umberto I and get a very nice View of Tevere River.
Breathtaking building that is sure to wow you by its beauty and size. It is a huge building with a nice park at the back-if you consider the side facing the river to be the front.
Very beautiful building
Such an impressive building ! It is the most spectacular one I've seen, it has so many details and it's really huge.
Closed to the public. You can only tour this if you are accompanied by a lawyer practising in Rome. The Palace of Justice aka the Roman Supreme Court, is the seat of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Judicial Public Library. It’s situated in the Prati district of Rome, which is a bit of a trek away from the centre of the city, but is stunning nonetheless. The building is popularly called the Palazzaccio. Inside the Court is stunning! The architecture is beyond beautiful, with white stone work and classic Roman cuts; not to mention the opulent chandeliers and classic floor tiling. Truly an architectural beauty.
Awesome place to visit. There is a very nice park out in the front to relax in or wait for a bus. Please do visit the back side i.e the riverside and observe the statues
This beautiful building is a sight to behold. Imposing by size alone, the side facing the Tibur is best viewed from the bridge acros from the main doors. The statues and iconography all speak to the building's purpose: justice. Atop the building, the winged goddess of Law drives a chariot while Justice herself sits above the door. Flanked by two lupe romane, her sword remains sheathed but ready. To the fore stand the progenitors of Roman law: most recognizable is Cicero, at left of the main door. For those passing by on an early morning, the nearby bibliobar is a scenic place to take a coffee and appreciate this stentorian marvel.
