The train section is pretty much the same as it always has been, functional with a bit of railway station nostalgia about it. The bus station, however... Make sure you know which bus you need to catch in advance. Trying to figure it out from the information given at the station is near impossible. Also, one platform serves nearly ALL the north and west bound busses... it is a mad scramble to get through the crowd and onto your bus before it drives away!
A huge train station & bus way! Providing transport all over Brisbane & coaches travelling interstate! Ten train platforms! A lost property office! A news agency & many coffee facilities! Wheelchair access is available restroom & entrance & parking! Timetables on screen showing departure & arrival time of trains! At the bottom of platform 6&7 is the Zoom coffee stand! It has a loyalty card that you get stamped every coffee you buy!
Tucked in Brisbane city. See the train information screen, go to the correct platform to board and travel to your destination. If unsure, you can seek help from the friendly officers.

A central train station in the heart of Brisbane. Pretty clean ISH, with easy access. Unfortunately sometimes there's dust from the nearby demolition works. Also would be awesome if they would add more trains during peak time. Not one every 30 minutes...
I do not understand why the main hub station for distance travel in Brisbane does not have luggage storage lockers.
Beautiful place! Must visit. Google map will guide you to ground road if you go there from Herschel street but please use Roma street bus station there is direct route you can access.
Brisbane can't claim to be a major city with a sad old station like Roma Street. All the shops are closed. The place is Soviet Union grey. The information screens are so small I need a telescope to read the platform numbers. The train was on time but moved slowly at an average speed of about 50 kmh. Tickets are cheap with a Translink Go Card. No power outlets for laptop or USB devices on the carriages. Brisbane is in 1950 not 2019.
Bustling with lots of commuters, second to the central station. Can get you to connect with other train lines and buses. Needs escalator to go up and one to go down. Not everyone can climb stairs and the lifts can be a little slow.
