Would not recommend this place to anyone. Sign in office said to check in across the road at Big Rig Caravan park, manager was not friendly, no wifi code offered. They were joined SMALL cabins that had no comfort to them, decking outside to get to them was lifting, very dangerous to trip on. Paint hanging off ceiling in out cabin. Was a lot of workers staying there, which would be great for them but not for couples travelling. Find somewhere else, you'll be happier.
Super unimpressed with my room. I got in late, the key was easy to find. obviously the accommodation gets used for workers predominantly, I parked up and had to carry my baby through a bunch of blokes smoking and sitting on the stairs and deck.nInitially the room looked tiny but okay, I decided to have a shower and stripped off only to walk into the bathroom and realize there is a very large window directly about the toilet, opening onto the deck, that was wide open meaning anyone outside could see in, considering the back wall has mirrors on it, meant thay even not in the bathroom I was in full view. Not happy about that! Not whay you expect in a bathroom. Closed the blinds and jumped into the shower, and I'm not st all convinced it was ever cleaned. There was a soap bar in a wrapper flung up and stuck to the ceiling, the walls had very visible dried snot all over it, it was disgusting!nnThen to top it off, at 7.45am we gor a knock on our door and it was staff asking if we would be staying until checkout at 10am or not.. in what universe is it appropriate to knock on a guest door before checkout, especially prior to office hours.nnDefinitely wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Absolutely brilliant. Great cabin, neat, clean and the air-con on for a very comfortable setting
We stayed just one night at the Aussie tourist park, and to be honest that was one night too many.nnWe’d had a long hot drive to get there including a 3 hour hike at a National Park on the way and just wanted a lovely shower and to relax. We had to check in over the road at the Big Rig caravan park and duly drove back over to our cabin, which from the outside looked modern and inviting.nnImagine our disappointment when we got inside. What was immediately obvious was that it was very dusty, especially the floor on which there was a pair of tracksuit bottoms left behind from a previous occupant. The bathroom floor had several strands of long dark hair near the shower and lots of debris behind the door. It clearly had not been cleaned.nnThe bedding was made up well with clean crisp sheets.nnOn reporting our disappointment to the managers their initial response was that it had been cleaned earlier. There was no apology for the fact that it was below standard, no offer to come and inspect it, and no offer of compensation. Their only response was to say they would speak to the cleaners about it.nnTo add insult to injury the cleaning team arrived at the cabin the following day at 9am whilst we were still in bed. Why they couldn’t have waited until 10 am when we had left, goodness only knows.nnThe cabin is one of four designed for occupants with disability although we don’t have any disabilities and didn’t request this sort of accommodation and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for that. The bathroom is lovely and spacious and more of a wet room but it’s fully tiled in marble/granite. Any water on that floor would turn it immediately into an ice rink and therefore, in my opinion, unsuitable for any wet room.nnMost electrical sockets were accessible, and there were plenty by the bed where a lamp would have been invaluable. When wanting to go to sleep, with a main light switch right by the door, it was necessary to find your way back to bed in complete darkness.nnIn addition the kettle wasn’t working.nnWouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
A great little room for my night on a long road trip North. The couple on check in were friendly and helpful. Had everything I needed
