We have lived up here forever, our IGA used to be the best little supermarket in the hills. Unfortunately our local twin heroes sold up, and things have been in a slow downwind spiral ever since. First up though, I must say, the staff are awesome, friendly, helpful and great local people. We will always support our local supermarket and we buy from here on the daily. But due to the decrease in fresh produce quality, coupled with the steady increase in the cost of everything above and beyond other similar supermarkets in the area we now go elsewhere for some of our groceries, especially fruit and veggies. Kalamunda IGA is around the same size as Roleystone IGA, with more competitive pricing, extensively bigger selection and way nicer fresh produce. We really hope our local IGA can get back to the high level it once was so well known for. There is nothing better than having a local supermarket around the corner, and Roleystone would be worse off without it.
Roleystone IGA really is ‘as fresh as the morning’! The market stocks a fantastic range of goods ranging from deli items to rare beverages good variety of kombucha and seasonal products that can be bought all year round I’m looking at you pfeffernuse! Fresh Produce could do with a tidy up and better waste checks especially considering that you pay more than the top competitors. All in all a fun, vibrant store with friendly staff and a real community vibe. It’s a very nice touch that they leave cardboard boxes out the front for people that have forgotten their bags.
Awesome local IGA with great variety and friendly staff. A wide selection of on-demand food, including fresh made soup! A real gem.

I've waited a while before doing this review, to give the new owners a chance to settle in, and also to be fair. I believe it has been about a year and a half now.nnAll I can say is I'm disappointed. The products are substandard and past their best I'm talking about fruit and veg and on top of that over priced like most things there. I wouldn't mind the prices if it was a premium quality store, but it just isn't.nnThere are less staff than before and waiting times have increased. Shopping trolleys are not collected. It used to be about the customers which doesn't seem to be the case now.nnI believe the owners have multiple stores which in my opinion shouldn't be allowed if they are meant to be independent and about the local community, as they become just like the big stores which cost a lot lessnnGuess you don't know how good something is till you lose it, the old IGA was amazing. We now only get the incidentals there. Spuddie all the way for us.
