Went here for a brunch with work colleagues and was impressed by the ambience and food options. The food was well portioned and looked amazing. I also really liked the service. Even though there were about 12 of us the food came out quickly. The adjoining nursery was a good touch and contributed a nice, natural vibe. Didn't like the birds that stalked our table though. They were a bit swoopy. Vegetarian options: They had some good vegetarian options on the menu. The scones and pancakes were particularly impressive. Parking: There were quite a few parking spots out the front when I arrived.
This is a very busy cafe with excellent café style food and lots of healthy meals available on the menu. There are also lots of yummy cakes and pastries for those occasions you want to treat yourself. Despite the constant pace the staff, in my experience, are very polite and efficient. At a recent visit with a frail elderly friend I was particularly impressed with one of the servers, Willy. He was very attentive and polite. It is a good idea to book especially on the weekend and over holiday periods. No table service- order at the counter. It’s 4.5 from me!
Lovely place with lovely vibe. Live but soft acoustic music playing in the background when we were there. There is also a playground for kids. Food is pretty good and personally like the fish n chips. Very helpful manager who arranged a table for us. Good service. Could have given a 5 stars but its a bit pricey for us.
Pretty cool place. Plenty of outdoor seating, and a great play area for the kids. Cafe menu consists of a lot of all-day breakfast types options. Diets are catered for. I had the Brisket sandwich, it was great. Nicely flavoured and juicy. Would happily have again. The gift shop has a great range of local food stuffs and such. Which I'd say was a highlight.
A wonderful cafe, with large portions, good service and a nice setting. Prices are a little more expensive than alternatives, but food is of good quality and was served fairly quickly. The specials menu is definitely worth a look, and if planning on going with a large party I would recommend booking given the business experienced on a Saturday lunch.
Enjoyable Lunch! Enjoyed a lunch at Rodney's Garden Cafe today. With a massive outdoor eating area and beautiful suuroundings, this is a great place for a food stop or lunch. A group of nine of us went for lunch and no complaints from anyone except around prices, this in the context of where prices are everywhere. All over an experience i would gladly do again, ill get me a second job, save over the next year and gift myself a nice outing. Kid-friendliness: The outdoor seating area has a kids play area for the little ones. Parking: Hard to find parking with many opting to park on the street due to lack of spaces in the attached parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access provided, although some of the terrain getting in and around the outside seating may be hard to navigate. Dietary restrictions: Provides dietry options for some.
Wonderful place with shealtered seating spread around the garden. Service is outstanding, with staff quick to find seating and accommodate individual needs, then deliver as fast as possible. Well capacity is high be sure to arrive early for breckfast or reserve a place. If you do turn up later without a booking staff will try to accommodate yet of course this is not always possible. Management owners? look to be quietly checking all are happy well doing their part helping out with service. Staff are all happy and friendly which is really nice to see. Well clearly aiming for groups they are very welcoming of solo dinners.
Christmas Special Inframe Spaghetti pasta infused with garlic butter and Prawns, only at Kitchen Garden at Rodney's based at Pialligo in Canberra. Pls note it's part of of their Special menu. Do visit this holiday season with your loved once and enjoy the it's beautiful ambience n relishing all day breakfast and lunch! Merry Christmas to all my Foodies
Delightful luncheon. Absolutely stunning day, and great food. I enjoyed my big breakfast. Couldnt finish it. Extremely generous amount of mushrooms. I dont eat them, but my companion does. And was happy. She had the yogurt battered fish. Was a big portion as well. And very tasty. Did not take a picture of the fabulous range of desserts. I had a berry cheesecake, my companion the hummingbird cake. Both were delicious. Lovely variety of gifts inside the garden centre. I will.say theybwere a tad pricey. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
I never dreamed there would be such a cool café in the middle of a garden nursery. It was incredible.we had brunch and an assorted variety of dishes that looked and tasted yummy.
