No dine in facilities, which didn't bother us as we sat in our car. Was passing through Lara. Very tasty cheese cake and potato pie. Will definitely come again.Food: 5/5
Come here every Sunday for a potato pie and a sausage roll. Girls at the counter are always really nice and very quick at what they do. Prices are a tad steep but comparatively speaking fair as well. My only gripe is there could be a better selection of drinks available, however with the lack of space they probably couldn’t fit another fridge out the front anyway.
What a joke. Staff shirts say Geelong's Best Bakery when it probably qualifies as the worst! Rude and disinterested staff. Dirty countertops. Chicken schnitzel and club sandwiches very poor - horrible greasy margarine taste. Yugh!
Visited on Saturday, 12 Dec 2020. My bike group lead has highly recommended this bakery & said the bakery has "super quick service, fresh food, wide variety, and every body does everything". And it is exactly the way it is described. Friendly staff, and super quick! I really want to ride through Lara soon, Just for this bakery.
The BeeSting they make are addictive. I am lucky I don't live in the area and only go in to get them when local because I would eat them all the time. Sometimes I go past and drop in to get some Bee Stings not for me but for friends or family so they can enjoy them. Lovely pastry.
Went on the weekend to pick up a loaf of sourdough and two packets of six donuts.....................$29 dollars!!!! The only prices listed are for the pies. Prices need to be clearly stated for all items.
Waste of money, not impressed, I ordered chicken & avo toastie, as it was handed to me I asked this is the chicken & avo, the lady hesitated, looked away, then said yes & handed it to me. I was taking it away & when I did open it to eat, it def wasnt what I ordered rather a roast vege! And it was burnt in alot of places which over powered the flavor & was uneatable. What a waste of good money as it wasnt cheap.Not impressed at all! It wasnt busy when I was in either, so no excuses, she clearly knew it was wrong as she handed it to me. I wouldnt go back or recomend
Bad experience, Just in it,I was welcomed by the owner. I assumed she was the owner as she was very assertive and attentive. I ordered a very good schnitzel roll and waited for it to toast. The good for nothing employee came in and said the chicken schnitzel is ready and she handed over the wrapped pouch. I sat in my office and I discovered she gave me Turkish bread with chicken and diced bacon. Not exactly what I paid for.
Great coffee! A very popular place for morning tea. A colleague of mine introduced me, so this could be dangerously good in the future!!
Popped in here for a sourdough loaf on the way to Geelong. A nice crusty loaf that slices perfectly for great toast. Worth a drop in.Food: 5/5
