For the quality of the rooms, I feel like they are a bit overpriced. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom really lets the room down. The parking was terrible.nWhen checking in, my licence was left at check-in. When waking up in the morning, my licence was placed on a chair outside my room, with my receipt for my room. Not very secure.
We were are party of three and enjoyed our lunch immensely. It had been over 30 years since I was last at the Rocky Glen and back then it didn't have too good a reputation. However when I was there today the bar and bistro staff were lovely. The food was great and the place was relaxing, clean and very pleasant. When I am in Gladstone again I will certainly return for another meal .
A little hard to find at 10 o’clock at night but we got there in the end. A young lady who worked there took me to reception to get key to our very well equipped room. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. But very quiet and comfortable. Excellent price.
The crumbed steak i orderd smelt funny, when I asked for a replacement I was told the kitchen staff believed the other crumbed steaks were fine and offered me a drink to compensate. Needless to say I went hungry and was left out of pocket.
Family friendly, lots of parking options for big & small vehicles, perfect location for us. Rooms a bit dated but great value for money & we love the Breaky boxes. Great option to have dinner at the pub, food always yummy. Loved our ground level room with grassy area for the kids to play. Staff always friendly & helpful. We've stayed here as few times & will be back.
