Sunshine Coast, Opening Soon.
The explosive growth over the past 20 years in recreation activities in Australia has resulted in a significant demand for alternative activities, such as sport climbing. Rockit Climbing Gym will be providing the first state of the art sport climbing facility on the Sunshine Coast.

In recent years, rock climbing has gone from extreme to mainstream. Every year, more and more people are trying this fun, adventurous challenging sport.

I took day off at work but when I came there,they have been closed, no sign and no answer via their social media which they still use. Absolutely don’t understand what’s going on with other 3 people I met there.
My favourite place to climb on the Sunshine Coast. Super affordable especially the boulder only membership, a huge breadth of facilities, and the moonboards speaks for themselves!
It never rains indoors! The staff here are awesome, really friendly full of advice and always keen to help. Lead climbing, top roping and bouldering the gym has it all. Climbs are reset often enough to keep things interesting.
A good gym, not very big, and often busy. Friendly, helpful staff. Small but comprehensive shop attached for most climbing gear, and slacklining gear. Small bouldering wall. Tuesdays and Thursdays seem to be busiest. Only one around the area, so if you can't go outdoor, make sure to check it out!
Awesome venue with plenty of climbing options. The instructors were knowledgeable and monitored the children well. Very safe and highly recommend for a kids party or even to test the adults.
Use to be good until the new wall went up and the bolder side became a playground for kids when classes finish. Needs sitting area so people aren’t sitting in the walk way or in the mat under someone climbing.
Awesome fun!! No better gym than a gym you forget to get tired and don’t want to go home... here you just want to keep climbing! Lovely staff and the lines get changed regularly, so there’s always new challenges available.
The walls here are great, and the staff are friendly however they are very understaffed. We waited almost 30 minutes to get harness instruction before being able to climb. There was only 1 staff member on the floor. This should be improved and it would have been a much better experience
The only place on the Sunshine Coast that does indoor rock climbing and bouldering, plus, the prices are reasonable and the staff are helpful. Bouldering routes are rotated regularly. As someone who goes at least a couple of times per week, I would like to see the 'auto-belays' rotated more often, but that's my only issue. Overall, an awesome place to climb for experienced and new climbers.
I’ve been coming here every Wednesday and usually another couple days a week for the past year. The holds have been recently upgraded for some courses which is great! The staff are always lovely to deal with and very into climbing, they’re great to ask for advice as well. The top rope and bouldering sides are very different but both offer high quality courses, I hope they expand the bouldering room soon to compete with ‘Flow’ though. When Flow opened, my group made the decision to stay members at Rockit as they offered a great discount on gear and have top-rope which is nice for training the forearms. However, the main reason is because the course setting has a more accurate difficulty range where if you’re generally at a ‘Green’ course skill level, you can work on all of the greens and they are great problems to work on. At Flow, it’s generally either too easy or too hard, so can get boring. Pros: 1. Top-Rope and Bouldering 2. Accurate course difficulties 3. Friendly, knowledgeable staff 4. Excellent members pricing 5. Regular changes to courses Cons: 1. I don’t like the painted walls, makes it hard to sprawl your feet up the wall. Overall, a great place that has been the only gym on the Sunshine Coast for years. Will continue to support you guys, thanks!
