It was quite a nice and very long beach to stroll around. We started around the pier and walked through Churchill Park and back along the beach. The sand was quite fine so it was nice to walk along it. The views of the sea were interesting since it looked like a port area with plenty of large ships and cranes. The beach was quite clean so it was quite pleasant. It was surprising to see a yacht on shore and it looked like it had shipwrecked there. It was something you don't see every day. There were also a few newish looking developments on the edge of the beach to sit and sunbathe or play on the play area on the Boardwalk/Pier side of the beach.
Place is beautiful. You can eat with your family or group of friends here. You can grill, or have barbeque, can swim in the beach. Enjoyed the view it's very relaxing. Sunset is breathtaking.
Enjoy a relaxing walk along the beach, grass or eateries. Beautiful park space, easy access and variety of parking options available. Loved looking at the sculptures along the foreshore today!
It's my favourite beach in Perth, it's the best stretch of coastline in WA..
Beautiful water, a bit industrial, but still lovely to paddle
We spent our weekend there, the beach is so beautiful and clean.
We visited this beach on our last trip to Perth from the UK and it was great for our toddler. Very calm water and shallow so he could paddle about without being knocked over. Beach was clean too.
Love this beach in winter and the summer. The kids love being here. And it's a nice calm beach for kids to swim at.
This place is serene and so nice to spend time with family and kids. Beach is calm and shallow. So kids can swim around. Park just next to the beach is full of green and has kids play areas along with BBQ plates. Restrooms and taps are very closeby as well. Lots of eating options around, be it Asian, Chinese or Italian.
Very beautiful and quiet Perfect place for a family picnic, bbq
