Mr Cavanagh is the best teacher out there lots of laugh from him can actually teacher then others most other teachers are annoying and bad but cavanagh is the goat.
As a student, there is a bit of bullying. The school is quite unorganized and I personally don't like how it runs. Teachers don't have control over some students and referrals are common. This is for year 8, as I was in that grade. I will say that this school is definitely one of the better high schools in rockhampton. As long as your kids are in the right crowd they will be fine. I got bullied, but I changed who I hung out with and now nobody really acknowledges me, but that's by choice Academic wise, my grades went from C's and D's to being in excel classes with B's and A's. This may not be the same case for your kids, but that was my experience. The teachers are good in terms of teaching, but when it comes to behavioral control in some classes it can be so so. Referrals are common, but I personally think they should be handed out more often. Depending what classes and grade your kids are in will determine their learning experience. The principle is also not the best so expect constant complaints from your kids about her

such a great school! my kids never got bullied and always had such a great time in their physical education classes! only downer is the principal :
Full of bully’s and don’t expect any support from the staff. Useless would be an understatement! Don’t send your children here as they will be scared for life.
You will most likely get told to kill yourself and have nothing be done about it. Statements were made and nothing was done, not even by the principal.
It's a great school, the teachers help you with anything that you need
