I don't usually provide bad reviews but I really think Dr Galina had no empathy. As a foreign, but already co-citizen I was expecting to have an empathic assistance in regards what's best for me and my pregnancy, how does the joyrney looks like and what are my options between private and medicare system. What I got is that you have to evaluate by yourself with poor to no guidance at all to enable me to make an informed decision. Really disappointed with the service, which is far from being patient centric and seems more system centric.

I had an appointment with Galina as my usual doctor was unavailable. She belittled me and screamed at me when I simply asked if she received my X-ray results from the hospital to have compared. She shouted “why on earth would I have those that isn’t for me”, yet this was the reason why I was there. She continued yelling and shouting at me for the rest of the appointment while giving me completely incorrect medical information. She should not have a medical license

I love this place, Dr Laurence is my go to dr and has been nothing but a saint. He’s helped me out soooo much. The staff are always nice in my experience and the phone consultations have always been very quick in calling me and helping me. I have seen a lot of negative comments about this place on different platforms but I have a few things to point out to these people. This is a BULK BILLING PRACTICE it Is because of this that it is extremely busy. They offer better hours than most around the area of the whole Goldcoast. They offer BULK BILLING ACUPUNCTURE!! I’m not aware of many places that offer this. So yes there may be some long wait times and yes the staff may get a bit short here and there but they are flat out all the time. If you want all the bells and whistles go and pay at a dr clinic and get your Medicare reimbursement. If you can’t understand that when something is essentially free that there will be some short falls then you need more help than a standard drs. Go to the USA and see how you go?? Robina 7 day Drs are so good and I can not recommend them enough. Dr Laurence is the best Dr I’ve ever had. Great job to all.

Extremely upset with the way that I was treated during my appointment with Dr Galina Chafikova this morning. Throughout the entire appointment, I was degraded, treated like a child, and made to feel stupid. I booked the appointment to get a Doctor's Certificate after being away sick from placement for three days. When I explained my situation, she abruptly stated that I am a "big girl" and "old enough" to book an appointment and come in when I am actually sick. She did not take the time to do any sort of check-up and rather continued to tell me that I was in the wrong. She then went on to snicker and say how she wishes she was "young and stupid again" like me, so she wouldn't have to think about her decisions.  I am disgusted with how Dr Galina Chafikova spoke to me throughout the appointment. As a grown woman, I should not feel as though I am being reprimanded like a child. Regardless of age or status, nobody should be spoken to in the way that she spoke to me. I understand that certain regulations are in place; however, there is a correct and appropriate way to communicate these regulations with your patients. I am posting this today, hoping that no one will have to have the same experience as me.

Would definitely not recommend attending this medical practice as the treatment is substandard. Treating doctor was unusual and hard to understand which was made even harder when she was wearing a mask. Very strange.

My mother went for acupuncture for her neck pain, only to find that the pain became far worse with each treatment. Will never return to that surgery again.

I turned up to an empty surgery at 6.40 got my 6.45 appointment. They opened late, without updating there hours or letting patients know. At 7.30 they opened the doors and when I told them how long I had been waiting I wasn't given an apology. I wasn't given an explanation. I was told to go wait. After having to ring the bell for assistance a nurse tried to get a doctor to help and the doctor started abusing the nurse because she's a "doctor, not a slave". The way patients are treated is bad enough, but they way the doctor spoke to the nurse is truly disgusting.

Without fail, each time I come to this clinic, I have to wait 45-60mins to be seen by the doctor, only to be rushed out of the appointment within minutes. It is incredibly frustrating and prompts me to avoid going to the doctor as often as possible. I think I better find a new practice.

They mean well but, waiting over 1 hour, even with a fixed appointment is just not acceptable. No apologies, no real service.

Have been coming here for seven years. Robina seven day is a role model for how GP clinics should be. The staff are personable, access is swift and you can drop in or book. Complimentary acupuncture has an invaluable impact on my health in managing fatigue, stress, pain and inflammation before it escalates. Managing these minors stops them becoming majors.
