At $15.50 for a bacon and egg roll, I'd expect one of the best in Town. What I got was mediocre at best.nnI have no issue with premium prices but then I expect a premium product.
Had poached eggs on toast m.nPoach eggs served cold as if it came from the fridge, decaf coffee not the best too. I asked if the eggs were made fresh and the waiter said yep, I told her it was cold…. she just said it’s made fresh and that was that. I couldn’t eat the eggs or the finish the coffee. Hopefully others get a better experience but my first experience there wasn’t great.
I would give this place a zero if I could. Every other time I've been here it's been lackluster service and very average food. Today I stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged by the single waitress that was there, she walked by twice and proceeded to make coffee, without any acknowledgement to me at all. I walked out after that, it's been a long while since I've had to do that anywhere.
The scrambled eggs on sourdough is excellent. The sourdough is warm, soft and fresh! The scrambled eggs are fluffy and filling. We’ll done!nnPS The coffee is good too
the coffee was so good, surprisingly. tbh i did not expect that when i first saw the cafe. but don’t judge a book by its cover! the coffee was really delicious and the service was lovely! thank you
