Wonderful experience. So much to see. And do. Worth every penny and time spent. Fireworks are magnificent. Lot to learn. Lot to watch. Good food. Agricultural section offers a lot of educational benefits, and Careers information. Aquarium is so colourful. Animals are in wide variety, specially the cows and poultry. Overall, a well spent day. So happy that i went there.
Great day out with family. This has become a family tradition for more than 40 years now. Things are a lot classier now and the food and entertainment are a 100 times better. Also the ring events are so much more professional and the fireworks outstanding. The only drawback is the crazy prices on the "sample" bags and some of the foods. Overall a great family day out.
The Brisbane Showgrounds is the perfect location for The Ekka! It is in the heart of Brisbane City, you can either drive or catch public transport.. the train stops right in the middle of it all. Tickets aren't too expensive for what you get. There's so many shows, rides, games, food and so much to look at. The rides and games are a bit expensive though. The night time entertainment is fantastic too. It does get very busy though.
Ahh..i haven't been to the Brisbane ekka for ages.. even before covid, My partner and i loved it The Strawberry Sundaes, the Dagwood Dog the Prize winning animals, to the enormous Camel, the show bags, the rides, the pushy man selling the Fireman calendergive him another job We had a good day.. The only complaint was..the Green program they were giving out didn't have the Arena events on them.. had to find information tent which is disastrous if you go the wrong way because theres a million people to get through if you get lost.. Otherwise worth going.. Admission should be cheaper.
Attended the EKKA for the twilight session..It was nice..very priceywhich is this case as is everywhereThe usual showbags, rides, displays and fairground foods. It had it all there..at a cost I may add also!!after a few rides, showbags and food you had done your budget..there was no parking around the Showgrounds and the closest were charging outrageous prices esp for that time the afternoon!!I could ramble on!! So all in all brought back good memories but won't need to go again in a hurry!!
We attended the RnB Fridays festival at the RNA Showgrounds. They really ran a seamless event, there was ample toilets this year unlike other years. The drink lines were fast and efficient. They had a substantial amount of food trucks with many types of food to choose from. We had a great time.
Easy parking , lots to see for the kids. Great night show, so much to look at for kids. Side show alley was way to expensive and huge lines. At about 12 to 15 dollars a ride for each kid turned into quite an expensive day. Show bags were quite pricey and I so much unhealthy food was hard to find anything healthy meat free. Overall was a great day , ears are ringing from the fire works but worth it was so great !!
Great venue , epic place for live gigs. Lots of places for food vendors. Perfect spot in the Brisbane city, not far from anything.
Really clean and tidy. All the facilities were well stocked. It was a great day out going to the Ekka.
Great experience at the Ekka show :D Although the weather wasn’t so pleasant, still was amazed by the spectacular fireworks!
