RECYCLING!! I love this Transfer Station. The staff are wonderful and sometimes they even help me unload my Ute. The seperate areas are clearly marked and it feels good to dispose of waste correctly. They facilitate green waste, metal, oils, paints, general waste, batteries, dirt and even have a section for e-waste. At times I've arrived with a Ute load of packing cardboard which they let me dump for free. Very reasonably priced for locals. I do wish they had a dump shop here because Ipswich would really support and benefit from this.
Considering I pay my over priced rates not sure why I have to pay the ridiculous fee to dump every here else get it for free but oh no nor Ipswich.:
A well organised facility, with paved roadways around to the different sections. $14 for up to 300kg.
Lined up on the street to get in but the staff got us in as soon as they could. Needs extra lane. But once in was good.
Friendly service, good prices for ICC residents, opening hours are really convenient, layout is uncomplicated and easy to navigate
A long wait on a busy Saturday leading into Christmas, but the guys working there were super nice and friendly
