Mission

Welcome to the Riverine Herald Facebook page.
We aim to share with our followers breaking news, as well as communicate directly to readers; we offer a platform for followers to comment and to discuss issues with others.
We encourage intelligent and informed commentary that enhances the quality of our stories.
We ask people to be considerate with their comments, giving their opinions and making their points politely.
We won’t tolerate obscenity, vulgarity, personal attacks, profanity and commercial promotion but we are tolerant and respectful of people who are prepared to stand by their opinions in their own names.
We also reserve the right to delete comments, depending on the context, left by people using a business name, organisation or pseudonym.
Our moderating decisions are generous and most comments will remain if they are on-topic and not abusive or defamatory. We will moderate the page as carefully and regularly as we can.
