Story

River Canyon Restaurant was opened by Italian brothers Michael & Frank as one of the best restaurants in Parramatta.
The restaurant features a spacious dining room, dance floor, comfortable seating, river views, raised area for small functions, fully licensed bar, outdoor smoking area, makes the venue perfect for many occasions.

It's a buffet style restaurant It was a great night we had. Christmas party of "golden girls", we call ourselves. Lots of yummy foods. Entertainment, amazing. Christmas is just around the corner, book yourself/selves a place/seat.  They're so busy this time of year. It's our 3rd time.  We wouldn't go back if it isn't as I described.

Visited there on a Saturday evening. A decent buffet for $ 49 per head. Lot of options were there including quite a few meat options.  The pricing on the facebook page were wrong for kids. It said   $ 15 and $ 19 for kids, but they charged me $ 25 for 3 - 6 yo and $ 35 for 7+. Manager appologised saying the pricings were old and removed service charge and 2% surchargefrom the bill.  The place had a private event running and they offered the rest of the tables to public. I wouldn't recommend to go there when there are events running. It's bit of a disturbamce for both parties.  Entertainment was ok. Island dancing and various costumes.

Went there for Persian night on Apr 17th, food was amazing, incomparable to many other buffets I've been to! Buffet was full of food for 2.5 hours and that was the best part!  Staff were friendly and helpful Dessert was more than enough,  There was a photographer who took photos of you and your friendsno matter how many you want  Highly recommended!  Keep on great job!

I wouldn’t go again.. meat was not warm/ hot enough. Garlic nan was cold and hard. The server was kind though. Well.. I didn’t have the best experience here in food wise.

The Tandoori wings was a hit. Decent portion size and served hot. Succulent, tender and juicy wings.  However, the Charcoal chicken was cold and the meat wasn't tender.

I ordered Pinacolada. It’s just a coconut milk with ice. Waste. Food is good. just ordinary food but tasty.  Nice atmosphere very relaxing. We will visit again but definitely no pinacolada maybe will something else.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at River Canyon on July 16. It was a wonderful night. The buffet, music, staff and  Latin night show were amazing. My guests had so much fun. I also celebrated my 50th birthday here, that was 10 years ago!  It was also a great night.

Dishonest and not hygiene: I made a 2nd time take away order for Lebanese Meat Platter 3 Skewers for lunch which is priced at $36 in their menu but cheaper for take away. It took me about 40 minutes to drive to Parramatta and back home after paying for a parking ticket. I was so disappointed to find out the meal was not the same as I ordered at my first time: There were no skewers with 1 mince kofta, just about 4 pieces of chicken kebab, a bit more pieces of lamb kabab and no bread at all. I highly doubt that someone might eat something from my meal. It is just not acceptable. I called the restaurant several times and asked for a refund. They kept saying that someone will call me back and never called me back. It is not somewhere I would suggest anyone to go, not honest people and not hygiene food.

Thank you! The dinner and show were nice. It was good to have an opportunity for social dancing. The service was pleasant and quick. Your staff was friendly and polite. So interesting to see the photos after the party on facebook page of River Canyon Bar & Grill! Excellent idea!

I normally do not put a bad review but could not skip this one. Customer service was awful. Food was cold. Tables were filthy and did not have a table cloth. The restaurant smelt bad too. They charged me extra money and when i wanted my money back they took ages to fix it. Still they surcharged me. The customer service was awful she was too slow in calculation and wanted to push me pay extra money which she did at the end! She was more into her phone rather than doing her job. The food was not good, it seems was not fresh at all. I asked for spoon and did not get anything till i finish my food.
