Popped in on Saturday to grab a swimsuit for my partner as we left her usual one at home. Upon walking into the shop there was no greeting or even an acknowledgement by the 2 young guys on the counter who seemed more interested in talking and larking about. One with a Harry Potter mark drawn on his head was particularly rude when reaching around us to put stuff on the shelf instead of using any manners. When asked for help he seemed like he didn't care at all which when your shop is charging over $100 for a swimsuit you'd think that there would be even an ounce of customer service. I never type reviews but on this occasion I felt like I had to. If there is a manager of that store I'd be having a word with both of them, its beyond me how you can be a face of the company and show very little interest in providing any customer service. Absolute joke.

Just visited Rip Curl in Scarborough. Matt and Amber were super helpful, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Greeted with a friendly smile, excellent service from a happy customer. Thanks guy's.

Recently came to this store to buy my daughter her first bikini but as I walked in the store I'm not a skinny person the older lady behind the counter gave me an unpleasant look up & down & continued to talk to her co worker. No welcome no nothing. Really bad customer service

Love Rip Curl Scarborough. The guy serving me was very friendly and offered me a better price when I was uneasy on the purchase. Love the boards on display. Get around it  Large fin stock, plenty of wax, great clothing, top of the line wetsuits.  It is fairly expensive, but that's just rip curl. Great quality products

Service is really bad. I got a voucher for my birthday and it didn't work so they said they will have to wait for the manager to come in on Monday and they will call me back in Monday. Wednesday I called because I didn't receive a phone call from them and then they told me the voucher had a typo and that why it couldn't be redeemed. Thanks for NOT calling back...

Just bought a backpack today 7 july 2020. Great experience in that store. The team was absolutely awesome.  Would totally recommend

I had an excellent experience at rip curl Scarborough yesterday while I was shopping. In particular I was helped in selecting a wetsuit. I found the staff approachable, genuine, friendly & very helpful.

These guys are extremely nice to a few groms . They were very helpful with renting surfboards and are very knowledgable in everything to do with surfing and the beach.
