Australia’s first and most comprehensive Latin dance school. Where we are about way more than just dancing, here you will find a whole new social life where you can improve your life through Latin dance and culture. You can begin from the basics with Starter courses in 6wk and 12 wks options. If you have prior dance experience chat to one of our friendly team and book in a FREE 15minute session with an instructor to find out which course will bes suit you. As well as regular core courses you can enjoy workshops with Rio Rhythmics Instructors, and Interstate and International Instructors!

Enjoy unique social dance nights every Friday & Saturday. If you have never danced before a great place to start is our Saturday Latin Mix Party with a 90min Intro lesson 7 - 8:30pm - every Saturday night!

As a latino who has been listening to salsa music all my life, I found the music in this place so outdated and boring. The place needs a new DJ or somehow update their play list.  Just to be clear: I'm talking about the social dance event!

Enrolled in a 10 week starter course where you can attend several different classes for a great price in my opinion! Instructors are very informative and passionate, thorough in basics in the starter courses to ensure a good foundation is built which I really enjoy. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make every class due to life stuff, but catch up has been easy and have still been able to learn a good amount.

Rio is not only a great dance school, but a wonderful community to belong too.  The teachers are enthusiastic in sharing their love and knowledge of not only the dances, but also the culture.  Front of house/admin are welcoming and so helpful in assisting with enquiries.

The team at Rio are excellent! It is an awesome dance school that is very welcoming. You don't need a partner and you don't need any dancing experience - you'll have pretty of new friends and will be dancing away soon enough! Great people. Great culture. Great community!

I tell you what - Rio Rhythmics dance classes are just fabulous. I admit I couldn't dance but after a fun filled term of dancing I am feeling much better in lots of ways. Friday's for me have been dance classes with my wife followed by dinner and a bit more dancing. This has been the best time we've spent together for ages. We started with Tango and now we are looking at the other styles.  Give it a go and I think Rio Rhythmics is an excellent and friendly place to start

Need a fun night out, look NO further.  Rio Rythmics is like joining a new family, you can just go along to a Saturday night beginner class, no booking required, and you will join a large group of people doing the same. Go alone [I did] or take a friend. NO experience is needed and the teachers are really good at giving you easy steps to follow.  It's really social and great Brazilian music.  For the more experienced dancers it's a fun place to go social dancing every Fri and Sat. I have been doing lessons for some time there now and have loved every moment, met some great people.  If you need to perk up your life, rock in one Sat night!!!!  Just do it.
