After using this business twice, on both occasions I’ve had to take my vehicle back to get them to do there job properly. They also subcontract to other panel beaters and use cheap material in my case wiring for a winch. They also tried to rip me $300 dollars buy buying a cheaper brand winch. Also kept delaying the finished date of the vehicle. Very disappointed with there efforts and laziness.Service: Body & Trim
Very good experience, normally expect the worst for these types of thngs but not the case with Rigoli's. Was quoted a reasonable timeframe upfront and car was surprisingly completed much earlier. Car looks great and they even fixed the light bulb issue that was reported after the initial assessment. Taxi/hire car setup was simple as well.
When I dropped my car last Thursday, I was told that I could pick up the car this Wednesday which is 6 days after. So this Wednesday, I received phone call and said that I could pick up this Thursday and I would be noticed on the middle of Thursday about the pick up time. Because no one call me in the middle day of Thursday, I rang them, I was told then that I have to wait for another day until this Friday. Because of my job, I work on Saturday, and day off Thursdays and Sundays. But they can not be flexible, they can not wait until my next day off day next Thursday to pick up. But, I have to be flexible. Really bad service and really bad experience. Very angry.
Had my beautiful car repaired by these guys on the recommendation of my insurer. They did a lovely job on the repair but cleaned my wheels using an aggressive cleaning product that stripped the clearcoat off my rims and left them horribly stained. They denied using anything that would damage my wheels, even to the point of producing an incomplete list of cleaning products that they use I know it was incomplete as I spoke with the company that supplied their cleaning products. Their customer service is virtually non-existent - after literally months of the owner refusing to return my phone calls I got my insurance company to step in but they got the same lies from the owner. A very small repair job has now caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to my car. DO NOT use these guys, they are dishonest and unreliable and I will be further recommending that they are dropped from the insurers recommended repairers list. *Edit - I have just returned from a tribunal hearing where he admitted using products at his premises that are not listed on his hazardous substances register. This includes the aggressive cleaning product used on my wheels along with several other acid based products. This is a serious breach of OHS requirements and Environmental Protection Agency's requirements. This company lacks honesty and integrity and will do anything to prevent losing their preferred repairer status. Do not trust them with your car.
I had my car repaired recently and could not fault Peter and his team, including the friendly and helpful young woman on reception. The work was completed in the time frame I expected and I was very pleased with the result. I received regular messages keeping me informed of the progress of repairs. We arrived early Monday morning with the damaged car; no claim number or appointment. They were polite but very busy and directed us to contact our insurance company to start the process. Returning a few days later two hours earlier then the appointed time because of other commitments, the assessor adjusted his schedule to allow us to leave earlier. After completing the damage assessment, both the assessor and office staff were very careful to explain all the detail of the repair process, timing and costs involved before arranging a taxi to return home. I found Rigoli to very busy and beginning their assessment process with an appointment and claim number, they proceed quickly and communicate clearly the outcome.
